Natural scenery
Tasman Arch is located on the Tasman Peninsula in Tasmania, Australia. It is a well-known natural landscape in Tasman National Park. It is a natural stone cave formed by long-term erosion by sea water, also known as a sea cave or sea arch. Over millions of years, the tides have continuously eroded the coastal rocks, causing them to gradually sink, and then they were dug through by wind and waves, forming the majestic stone arch today. The top of the arch is 52.7 meters above the sea. Looking down from here, the huge bridge hole is full of shrubs and the cave wall shows the characteristics of stromatolite, which is a strong proof of the uplift of the submarine crust. Tasman Arch is named after Dutch explorer Abel Tasman, the first European to discover Tasmania. Today, it attracts many tourists to visit. Visitors can walk along the trail to the viewing platform to enjoy the dizzying cave and magnificent coastline views.
