Traveling without a car and with a mother who has foot pain. If this is your first time visiting Osaka or you plan to travel alone, I believe this post will be very useful for you. ———————————————————————————— I recommend buying the 'New Osaka Amazing Pass' online in advance, as it allows unlimited rides on the subway within Osaka for 2 days and access to 40 attractions, including several free boat rides. (Note: This is different from the Osaka Enjoy Eco Card). Also, consider getting an ICOCA card for convenient payments. [Available at subway vending machines] Day 1 (Arriving in Osaka at 10 AM due to an overnight flight) [Using the Amazing Pass, all attractions below are free] Arrive at Kansai Airport in the morning, take a train to the hotel to store luggage, and then have breakfast. In the afternoon, visit Osaka Castle (the Nishinomaru Garden offers great photo opportunities of the castle, free entry with the Amazing Pass), explore the KAIYODO Figure Museum, have lunch at the nearby mall, then visit the Osaka Castle Museum. Before 4:30 PM, take the last Nakanoshima sightseeing boat. In the evening, take the subway to Osaka Port Station to ride the Tempozan Ferris Wheel and visit the Osaka Aquarium (you can also visit the Sakishima Cosmo Tower Observatory on the way). Have dinner and then return to the hotel to check in and rest. You need to change into indoor slippers when entering. The Japanese-style bed room is very comfortable to sleep in. Although the space is only 22 square meters, it is ok for one person to stay in. Check the admission date grade First, go to the Universal Studios homepage and check the ticket grade!! Trip.com also has the grades by date, so check them out!! It's divided from A to E, and the admission price is set considering the level of congestion, etc., but it seems like it's usually C and D grades during the peak season and E grades during the peak season on certain days. Then you might think that there's no A grade during the peak season, but there are quite a few days on the weekends that are A or B grades. And April and June are almost always A or B grades!! I think you can enter Mario World with just the admission ticket for at least grade C. A and B are 100% possible!! 📲2. #MarchGoodPlaces2025 My first experience staying at the Imperial Hotel Osaka! Because I was visiting the Osaka Mint, I directly chose the Imperial Hotel next to it. Like Tokyo, it is an old five-star hotel with a classical and grand style. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well maintained. They are very retro and elegant, very clean and bright, and the Japanese service makes you feel at home. The experience is great. The most basic standard double room is about 30 square meters in size and costs about NT$7,000 excluding breakfast on weekdays. Breakfast for one person costs an additional NT$1,000, which is a bit expensive. The Imperial Hotel is located on a high floor, so the view is excellent.
