[2024 Jingdezhen Stay] Travel Guide for Taoxichuan Hotel (Updated Nov)
I'll stay at this hotel again when I come to Jingdezhen. It's comfortable and affordable!
As the core project of Taoxichuan, the public area of Hyatt Place Jingdezhen Taoxichuan has been praised a lot, and I also had a good experience. First of all, it has enough space to show, which is a natural advantage. The square and round, the virtual and real, and the light and dark are interspersed. In the corridor, you can see the sunlight passing through the holes, which makes you feel happy.
What I want to praise most is: although the whole space is mainly brick red, the designer uses different colors of tile backgrounds to divide different functional areas. For example, Building 1 is dark green tiles, Building 3 is dark blue, and the gym is white. With the hanging ball lights, it is beautiful without effort.
The most complained about the deluxe room is that the bathtub is next to the bed. It does look awkward at first glance, but it doesn't feel like it affects the use. I don't know if it's because of the corner room, but there are actually three balconies! Facing different directions, the lighting is very good, but if there are two chairs outdoors, will it be more attractive? The overall feeling of the room is still very elegant, not noisy, and can calm people down, but the design is still a little worse than the public area.
The width of the bed is good, but the length is a bit cramped. Including the wooden blocks decorated under the sink are movable, some details are not so textured, but it's just a Hyatt Place, so it's not difficult. In general, it can be seen that Hyatt attaches great importance to Jingdezhen. In terms of design, it can be listed as Andaz. The breakfast is much better than I expected. The service staff at the door can be more active. After all, carrying luggage may be the first and only need of some guests.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is its unbeatable location. There are many business districts around, so it is very convenient to eat and travel.
The hotel is well-designed, with a high and atmospheric lobby and a garden view outside the window, which is pleasing to the eye.
The design of the hotel room is flashy, and the layout is very cramped. It was very hot on the day I arrived, and the air conditioning in the room was not effective, so the whole room was stuffy and hot.
The service of the hotel is still good. I made several phone calls, and the needs can be responded to in time.
There are many kinds of hotel breakfasts, but the taste and quality of the ingredients are ordinary. I personally feel that it is average, not as good as the article said, and I don't know if the breakfast standard has dropped.

🏨How to say it❓It's a mixed blessing, after all, this is the best hotel I can choose here so far, but honestly, this price really can't reach the quality of Hyatt or international hotels in many places. Taoxichuan Hotel, also known as Jingdezhen Hyatt Regency Hotel, is a hotel designed by a famous architect. The lobby is very beautiful, the rooms are large, and the service is very good. The public area is very design-oriented, and the master's works are very photogenic. The facilities are relatively new, with smart toilets, TWG tea bags, etc.~ Full marks for details. As a Hyatt adventurer, I was upgraded for free from a 45-square-meter ordinary twin room to a 70-square-meter guest twin room.
The room layout is reasonable, and there is a small balcony. The bed is very comfortable. I don't know if it's because I was tired from shopping in Jingdezhen (but it should be fine), I slept for ten hours in a row for two nights in this hotel, and the deep sleep time was very long. It's too friendly for people with light sleep, and I feel reborn after waking up. The warm red decoration of the entire room and the appropriate lighting all create a sleep-inducing atmosphere.
When I was having breakfast, there was no pot soup. The chef asked me where I was sitting, and he would bring it to me when the next batch was ready. I was sitting far away and there were many people eating, so I said it's okay, I'll get it later. I didn't expect that a few minutes later, the chef brought a bowl to my seat, which moved me.

Not long ago, I also went to Jingdezhen·Jiangxi city walk🚶🏻♂️, and pulled out the grass Jingdezhen Taoxichuan Hyatt Selection Hotel, a very design hotel but with some slots.

The building where the hotel is located is the biggest highlight, designed by the famous David Chipperfield office, West Bank Art Museum & Rock Bund Source also come from them, the interior design is handled by AIM, just listening to these two names is enough to be exciting.

The clean and neat red brick facade building is simple and unpretentious, but it just shows the temperament that modern fashion should have. Entering the hotel, the super long front hall designed with the inspiration of the kiln factory and the lobby bar and reception desk decorated with jade green tiles on the left also fully demonstrate Jingdezhen's 'local spirit'-the perfect combination of historical precipitation and avant-garde fashion.

The basic room of 45 square meters for check-in, the space is enough, the main color is the special pottery red, it is said that the functional area division of the high-end rooms is more distinctive. However, the room supplies are really not good, the Minibar is empty😳, an already 'outdated' hair dryer, loud and uncontrolled temperature🤯, somewhat sorry for this 1200+/night room price.

In terms of service, because I was arranged a connecting room😅 when I checked in, I communicated with the front desk to change it. When I returned from going out, I was told that there was no suitable room to change. This kind of loss can actually be done better in service handover to avoid.

Overall, the Taoxichuan hotel has a very design style inside and outside, which is unique in Jingdezhen and even in China. The geographical location is not far from anywhere. It takes 15 minutes by taxi from Jingdezhen North Station, and the hotel's perennial 1200+/night price is for Jingdezhen. This not-so-holiday destination (mainly city walk to visit the market/museum), whether it is worth it or not is a matter of opinion;
However, Jingdezhen does not have other 5-star hotels to settle in, and the ceiling of Hyatt Selection is very easy.
