The resort’s facilities, from the infinity pools to the spa and restaurants, were top-notch. #traveldiaries After our mangrove tour at Tanjung Rhu, we had some time before dinner so we stopped by Tanjung Rhu resort to have some freshly prepared juice cocktail by the pool. This resort is really nice and relaxing as the pool is located beside the sandy beach. We ordered a glass of pineapple and orange based juice, and orange and grapeful based and they tasted so refreshing. The hotel is so quiet and we really can relax and enjoy the quiet serenity atmosphere of the resort. We are also allowed to take a stroll at the beach. We really enjoyed this vibe and will come and here and stay one day.

This hotel located at Tanjung Rhu, Mukim Ayer Hangat. Despite the hotel seems quite run down and there is no lift to my room, but I do still feel the ambience is great! Very nice beach and view. Wake up in the morning, the view is awesome and surrounding is very relaxing. the location is a plus point : secluded away from the crowd 👍 there is ATV if you like or you can rent a paddle board near the hotel. it is a paid activities if you dont like to go snorkeling or mangarove tour. Tanjung Rhu Langkawi not as clouded as Pantai Cenang Langkawi. So you could enjoy the beach and activities more. At here, you can join the local tour for island hopping, price are negotiable and they provide private boat if you are travelling with family and friends. Price offered is reasonable. Different price different package, we took the 4 hours package. They will bring you to few places and snorkelling. Lunch at own cost. On the beach, there are water activities available, such as jet ski, banana boat, surfing, ATV and so on. Nearby resort available like Tanjung Rhu Resort and Four Seasons Resort. The beach is so beautiful and clean with a great scenery of many small island opposite with beach front. Tanjung Rhu is located at the northern tip of Langkawi island and is 30 minutes away from Kuah Town. There are 2 very famous resort here; Tanjung Rhu Resort and Four Season Resort. Swimming is always pleasant and enjoyable here, as it’s not as crowded as Cenang Beach. Just watch out for some jellyfish here. Located on the north of the Langkawi island, Tanjung Rhu Resort has everything you can find in a relaxing beach resort. Tanjung Rhu Beach is right in front and it is almost like a private beach. The blue water looks amazing too because it is not crowded. However, you are also not far away from the 10 million-year-old rainforest and other mangroves for you to explore and get close to the nature. The hotel rooms are reasonably priced and you can also opt to have meals included in the price, if you feel like just relaxing and not want to go out in search for food. #resortstyle

Hotel - TRL hotel have 3 sexy pool which facing Andaman Sea (sand pool, sunset pool, lagoon pool) Me booked a room facing the beautiful beach. Spacious and lovely room, comfy bed and got a small balcony which is an added bonus! Attraction - there are several activities you can do such as ride ATV, kayaking or island hopping. Food & restaurants - if you are lazy, they do have in house restaurants but limited choice. but if you are energetic after having fun at the white-sandy beach, me would suggest a place name Scarborough fish and chips. IMHO their beach me would rating 9/10🌟

Have you ever imagined waking up to the sound of happy birds chirping, rustling of the palm leaves, and of course, the waves. Well this resort has all these. Just fly over 50 minutes from KLIA, you’ll enter this paradise called Langkawi Island, a legendary land. Journey from the airport to this hotel takes about half an hour. For me, I booked a rental car prior to coming here, and the vendor prepared the car at the airport. I love taking the first morning flight every time visiting this island, so I can have breakfast at Nasi Dagang Pak Malau, one of the best local breakfast. Then, I would normally go to the Langkawi Cable Car to enjoy the view of the island, looking to far end of the Andaman sea. After buying some snacks and drinks, my partner and I went straight to the resort. The location is rather secluded and deep into the pine forest, and we truly enjoyed the greenery. Checking in was fast. Please be mindful that there’s no lift at this establishment so you’ll have to walk up the stairs. It can be challenging to kids and elderly. We booked ourselves to a Suria Suite, and it was amazing! We had the garden and big pond view, but you can easily enjoy the perfect sunset everyday! The living, bed, and closet area are separated. The bathtub wall can actually be opened, and we could enjoy watching our favourite movies from the tub. I commend the bedding! The mattress was of the soft type, so as the pillows. We truly had good night sleep. The breakfast spread was amazing. They have sparkling wine too. So luxurious. There are two swimming pools here. I love the deep adult pool so much. Then resting on the deck overlooking the open sea. I would certainly come here again, for the value, and the location.

There are many beautiful beaches in the island of Langkawi of Malaysia. Tanjung Rhu, located in the north of the island certainly is one of the best. The water is shallow and warm. The beach is so beautiful, with powdered white sand. Over the horizon there are numerous number of Islands. The place is magical, especially in the evening, there are many luxury hotels around the area, and it’s a joy to spend a few days relaxing under the sun。

Mix feelings of this place. Loved the whole landscape, private beach, adult pool and the room. Especially the adult pool, you can really get some piece a d quiet time all by yourself. Beach is clean and nice. However, it might be nice for the staff to explain that half of the resort is still under renovation so you won't get surprised when seeing them. And you better rent a car if you want to stay here as it's quite remote from everything. #malaysia

Tanjung Rhu Resort offers 136 contemporary guestrooms, some overlooking the sea, while the others overlook the gardens… All the rooms are air-conditioned, and you can adjust the temperature in your room or suites to your personal preferences. Amenities include a room safe, an electric kettle, an ironing set, a hair dryer, slippers and bathrobes. The centrepiece garden with its lotus and waterlily pond with coconut trees framing it is also just such a joy to behold and a photographer’s dream….you can occasional spot a monitor lizard or a little frog and colourful birds… Tanjung Rhu Resort comes with two humongous outdoor pools (family and adult), a fitness center with sauna rooms and steam baths, tennis courts, multiple dining options, and a spa. The Sands adult pool is located near the Sands Restaurant and Pool Bar and the Chef’s Table fine dining restaurant. The adult pool is the most peaceful place in the resort, where you can just enjoy a quiet and peaceful day soaking up the sun or water at or by the pool with the convenience of the bar to provide you with drinks throughout the day. And if you happen to be adventurous, Tanjung Rhu has a variety of activities for all from ATV, watersports, mangrove tours etc Tanjung Rhu Resort is one of the nicest resorts I have had the opportunity to stay at, both in Langkawi and in Malaysia and comes with friendly, 5 stars service and a a good selection of food at any or all of their restaurants… and it cannot get anymore peaceful or serene than this!!!! And for those who loves a beautiful sunset, the sunset at Tanjung Rhu Beach is just breathtaking and shouldn’t be missed So if you want a serene and blissful honeymoon or a calming / healing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and town, Tanjung Rhu Resort is definitely the place to be!!!!

Getting There - 60 minutes from Kuah Town by car. Located at the end of Tanjung Rhu beach. Attractions - 3 hours Mangrove Trip offered at reasonable price. Normally they will charge per head and sharing boat, during pandemic, they offered private trip. The price is higher but still reasonable. Hotels - Near Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi and famous Four Seasons Resort Langkawi. Along the way there are small hotel and chalet for backpackers as well. Food & Restaurants - water chalet live seafood restaurants is included in the trip. Locals food are easier to get along the way to the jetty. Food are not recommended to bring during the mangrove tour as monkeys will attracted to your food 😂. #nationalpark
