It was my first time buying a high-speed train ticket without any travel planning, and unexpectedly, it turned out to be a pleasant and happy journey. 🚄High-speed train travel After exiting the station, turn right and follow the signs to buy a minibus ticket to the Dong Village. The driver will stop along the way for us to buy tickets (Guangdong residents can get free admission with their ID card), and the minibus drop-off point in the Dong Village is also where you catch the return minibus to the high-speed train station. It takes about 10 minutes from the Dong Village to the high-speed train station, and it is recommended to allow 1 hour for the return minibus trip, as the departure times are not fixed, with buses approximately every 20 minutes. 💃Entertainment 1⃣️ Watch the sunset at Tang'an terraced fields ✨ Minibus posters to Tang'an terraced fields can be seen everywhere in the village, with a round-trip cost of 20 yuan. It's better to find a chartered car, especially during peak times when there may be long queues. ✨ After the minibus arrives, you still need to walk a bit to reach Tang'an terraced fields. A private car costs 5 yuan, but it's recommended to walk as the scenery along the way is beautiful and the distance is short. (It's suggested to take the car between 4 and 4:30 PM, so you can stroll around the village) ✨ Many people recommend watching the sunset at the first dessert shop after entering the village, as the view is indeed good, but there are too many people queuing. It is strongly recommended to go to the shop next door, which is almost empty and the view is nearly the same. My travel luck always seems to be about queuing, and this time there was neither a cloud sea nor a sunrise, just a bit of fog. 3⃣️ Zhaoxing Dong Village ✨ The scenery at the entrance is the most beautiful, I think. The next day I spent a long time in the pavilion enjoying the beautiful view, feeling the breeze, and waiting for the minibus to the high-speed train, so happy. Across the road from the entrance is the viewing platform, where you can overlook the entire Dong Village. ✨ Besides the main commercial street, you can enter from the left side of . Tried many places, only recommend two. The difference in taste is really big. One is the one that shares a stall with Yang Meimei BBQ (10 yuan a cup, their sour plum soup is also very good). Nature has infinite healing power. 🚘 Several ways to get to Tang'an Rice Terraces: 1️⃣ Take the round-trip minibus arranged by the village scenic area, the ticket price is CNY 20 for a round trip, but if you go a little later, there will be a lot of people in line, so if you want to take the minibus, you need to go early to line up. Generally, the place where you get off is still a distance from the gate of Tang'an Dong Village, about 1.5 kilometers. It is not far. You can choose to walk up by yourself or take a carpool for CNY 5. Choose according to your physical strength. 2️⃣ Charter a car (carpool). You can ask the owner of the homestay if there is a driver who can charter a car to send you there, CNY 30 per person for a round trip. If you charter a car, it is CNY 120–150. If there are many people, you can consider chartering a car. If there are few people, you can consider carpooling with others. At that time, we went to take the minibus a little late, and there were a lot of people in line. We might miss the sunset when it was our turn. When we were about to give up, a girl in the line asked if we wanted to carpool. We happened to carpool a car, and then we started chasing the sunset. Fortunately, we caught up with the beautiful sunset. ❤️ 3️⃣ Mountain bike 🚜! When we got on the carpool, we saw someone renting a mountain bike and riding up by themselves, which was very cool! However, the road is a relatively steep mountain road, and there are minibuses going up and down the mountain, which is still a bit dangerous and tests your driving skills. Consider your situation.

It seems to be CNY 5 per person, and four people can share a car, so you can save your energy for walking around. The car will stop at the entrance of the Tang'an Rice Terraces. Walk a little further to the viewing platform, and further on, you will see the local people's houses. You can watch the aunties washing vegetables and chat with them. There is an auntie who can play the piano and sing for a fee, but I didn't listen because it was inconvenient to bring a cat. I ate pork skewers grilled by a mother with a baby on her back, which seemed to be CNY 10 for five skewers. I rarely eat grilled skewers, but this one was really delicious and fragrant. I ordered another five skewers after finishing the first five. Then I walked down the mountain with the cat. It was not far to the shuttle bus stop, and then I took the bus back to the village. The scenery along the way was a bit like Northern Europe, and the cat and I stopped for a long time. The construction between the buildings is full of a strong sense of community. From one house to another, you can pass through other houses directly. And never worry about losing things. If you are looking for a nice hike in the Guizhou area, then the Tang’an paddies in the shaoxing district is a great attraction. The pathway is paved and is it not that steep. You can access it by a bus from Tang’an Dong village and there is a sign once you get to the start of the trek along with restaurants and bars. Once you are on the trek, there is a lot of great views of the rice paddies

I finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door: Guizhou Tang'an terraced fields! ►Tang'an terraced fields were an unexpected discovery during our visit to Zhaoxing Dong Village ▪ Due to the limited time, we didn't plan to visit the terraced fields, but after arriving at the Dong Village early, we happened to come across a shuttle bus heading to Tang'an terraced fields, just short of two people, my bestie and I just embarked on the impromptu hiking trip! ▪ The whole journey was manageable in terms of time; it's a 15-minute drive from the Dong Village to Tang'an, with a transfer to a minibus for the uphill journey, and then a further 10-minute walk to the village upon arrival. To save time, we took the local villagers' private cars to and from the village ►The Tang'an terraced fields are beautiful in every season In spring, the terraced fields are filled with water, reflecting the clouds in the sky In summer, the rice fields are lush green, forming a stark contrast with the stone buildings in the mountains In autumn, the golden rice sways in the wind, a scene of bountiful harvest; in winter, although the rice has been harvested, the terraced fields still show their winter charm ▪ Upon entering the village, you can feel the freedom of blending with nature, the wind, rice fields, blue sky, and white clouds.
