The Kopitiam is one that has been with us since the past few decades. I still remember when I was young, my parents would ask me to take a seat while they went to top up the kopitam card, as there will be a ten percent discount on the food you have purchased from most of the stalls. Nowadays, you have to use their application to order food as Singapore is moving towards a cashless, but automated society. It helps to save time for the stall holders and make food served at the fastest time.

Something that you should do or visit when you are in tampines is to visit the Night Bazaar located right outside Tampines MRT and near the Tampines mall and tampines one area. The Tampines night bazaar is so much bigger and with many new stalls included like the deep fried lok lok, churros with different variations and there is also a hand claw machine section too! And the bazaar now has also a seating area for patrons to enjoy their meal pipping hot, rather than taking it home where the food might become soggy or cold. Do take note that this bazaar won't be here forever and will only last till end of August! Currently, there is a big one at the open area next to Tampines MRT Station. Happening only from 16th to 30th June 2022!! Do drop by if you can as this area is consider the biggest area for Pasa Malam, there is even seats and table now as compare to last time. Even the walkway inside are more spacey! I try some of the food and drinks, and they tasted quite nice too. Not only food, there is also stall selling clothes, phone accessories, toys and claw machines at the back! #singaporetrip Let me introduce this nice eating place Ging Sun Ho King of Bun 堅信號上海生煎皇located 4 Tampines Central 5, B1-K17/18 Tampines Mall, Singapore 529510. Their opening hours are from 11am to 9.30pm and they always have queue at their restaurant. You have to eat their pan-fried dumplings hot and the fillings will burst into your mouth. It is a Chinese style place and it is similar to Din Tai Fung. You must try their signature pan fired dumpling when you are here.

The venue is spacious and cozy, and the food items are reasonably priced. We tried the Jumbo 1L Thai Milk Tea, priced at just 4.5 SGD. Additionally, there is a diverse selection of stalls, including Taiwanese food stalls offering items like stinky fried tofu and Oyster mee sua, Thai street food stalls, TuTu Bamboo and even GO GO Pizza.

There is also a huge open space for you and your friends to rehearse your performances. There is also a water cooler to quench your thirst if you have forgotten to bring your water bottle along. After an hour of staying there, you can visit any of the restaurants and Kopitiam to have your meals. It is indeed a shopping mall that lets you get closer to the nature garden. It reminds me of my childhood days where we hardly get to visit a rooftop garden at the shopping malls. The next time you visit the mall, it might interest you to explore the rooftop open plaza garden.

Rejoice with me carbs lovers! When I mean Carbs, I meant things like your bread, buns, noodles, rice. They are my staple and I cant live without them. When I learnt that Gokoku, the famous Japanese Bakery, has opened a few outlets here in Singapore. I was over the moon. The bakery branch I went to was in Tampines mall and they have a wide selection of breads, buns, jams and even their famous jumbo coronets. And whatever items that were popular In Japan, I am glad they brought it over to Singapore too. Their buns has a slightly chewy texture, using quality ingredients. Their buns sell like hotcakes. Price is a little more expensive than the usual bakeries, but for quality, I am willing to pay. Try their buns and you will know the difference. Gokoku was founded in kobe Japan in 1961 and there must be a reason why the shop is Still doing so well today. #celebratewithtrip
