[2025 Ho Chi Minh City Restaurant] Travel Guide for Takashimaya (Updated May)

#CafeReview Today, I will review another famous cafe & restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, L'usine, a chic shop that does not only serve drinks, but also has a variety of food menus and many delicious desserts worth trying. This is the second time we have visited this shop. They currently have many branches. We came to the branch on the 5th floor of Saigon Center or Takashimaya. The shop is decorated in a modern style, spacious, with a nice atmosphere and comfortable to sit in. We ordered a fancy coffee menu called Royal Vietnamese Iced Coffee to try (75k dong). It is a Vietnamese coffee with a strong flavor, poured over shaved ice with chocolate sprinkled on top. It is quite a novelty. And what I mean by it is more than a coffee shop is that this place has many lifestyle products, including fashion products, bags, local brand products, and many souvenirs worth buying, Made in Vietnam. If you are a cafe lover, go and try it.

Address-Dim Tu Tac is located on 6th floor of Takashimaya shopping centre. Depending on the day / time of the week, you may need to wait for a table as the sitting area is pretty small. Menu-the standard Chinese Dim Sum with decent quality and close to those in Hong Kong or Guangzhou. I recommend to order steam rice roll, the standard har gow. Takashimaya Saigon's fanciest international shopping mall, offers some excellent dining options at basement 2. You will have experience with different dishes from many countries, such as Vietnamese food, Thai food, Japanese food, Korean food and many more for you to discover. I had ordered a cha siew wanton noodles and siew mai at Home Food. Grill Saba fish at Nakajima Suisan, and a ramen with egg and cha siew and beef fried rice from Baikohken. Most of the food is not bad and reasonably priced. Next year i wish to travel to Iceland.

It's rare to come across a Chinese charcoal fish restaurant in Vietnam. The taste is very good and authentic. #passionpassport I visited this marvellous Vietnamese restaurant when I was at Takashimaya HCM. Located at 65 Le Loi level 5, District 1, HCM. This is an excellent place for savouring authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, the services are wonderful and the food tasted delicious and will definitely recommend to others who love Vietnamese food at a convenient place. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and comfortable. It is a cute little eating outlet at the top floor of Takashimaya shopping mall with lots of choices. I loved their special marinated Chicken Wings and clams cooked in white wine and garnish with peppermint leaves and pepper. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy a dinner.

Singapore is known for its foodie culture, having a wide variety of cuisine types anywhere in the country. One of my favourite spots that serves Japanese cuisine is called Menya Musashi in Takashimaya shopping centre! It is conveniently located near the Orchard train station, connected via an underpass. Situated at basement level 1, this restaurant has a menu with classic Japanese favourites like fried rice, ramen and dumplings. The prices are slightly expensive but for a meal at a shopping mall, can be considered affordable. Their most popular dish is the rich black tsukemen so that’s definitely a must-try. I tried the garlic fried rice and it was very fragrant and well-cooked, with a fairly strong punch of garlic which I enjoyed. They sell various snacks such as kimbap, dumplings, tteokbokki, and ramen. If you don't like Vietnamese food or are tired of it, I think it would be good to visit at least once! It was nice that the restaurant was clean because it was inside a department store.
