Taj Mahal.
When I visited the Taj Mahal, I found myself in front of one of the greatest and most famous wonders of India in the world. Located in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh, the Taj Mahal is a unique architectural masterpiece that reflects the greatness of the Mughal civilization.
Upon arriving at the Taj Mahal, I was truly amazed by its beauty and the most beautiful expression. The main building, composed of pure white marble, features astonishing architectural details such as brackets, domes, and exquisite reliefs. The Taj Mahal, a monument of love, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century to honor his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
When I entered the crown, I was amazed by its innermost hall. The main hall is equipped with decorative ceilings, marble pillars, and magnificent statues. You can also see the tombs of Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Lived up to it's expectation as a wonder of the world. The story behind the mausoleum is very sad but demonstrated a different world. We went on the anniversary of the kings death which meant we could see extra things and this was lucky for us! Stunning
It's really worth being as one of the seven wonders. The place is very well maintained for the past centuries. There are so many photo shooting spots. Don't forget to make a visit on the opposite side of the river bank to enjoy the panoramic view of Taj Mahal.
Spare 2-3 hours for a visit to see the detail of marble art. India is really the place for marbles. No wonder the King could build such a beautiful monument of L❤️VE. There is always a different story of the history.
By the way, the purchased ticket could be used for discount at other attractions in Agra. Keep it well.
The Taj Mahal, located in India, is a magnificent structure. With its splendid white marble and intricate details, it is regarded as a monument that captivates visitors. Visiting this monument, with its mesmerizing beauty and significant historical importance, is truly an unforgettable experien

The Taj Mahal is the fourth of the 7 wonders that we have visited and like the other 3 you can easily see why it is one if the wonders of the world. Seeing it at sunrise with the haze it takes on a mythical appearance. The story of why it was built is one of the world's most famous love stories which has been immortalised in marble. You have to try and see this for yourself as it is really hard to describe how incredible it is.
One of the most iconic buildings in the world and it didn't disappoint. Yes, of course there are crowds of people but don't let that deter you. It is breathtakingly beautiful.
You will be told, as you collect your complimentary water, that you should have a guide or else face hours of waiting in queues, all I can say is that for us it wasn't the case. We had very little, if any queuing, and saved ourselves around 900 rupees.
Timing is everything as it can be quite misty some days early in the year (we were here late Jan). We got lucky I guess.
Visiting Taj Mahal is one of best activities in the itinerary of our trip to India. It is worth to visit despite of the long line (about 2 hours waiting to enter the Mahal. We learnt history, culture, and religion of this mysterious and attractive country.
We must thank Alkof Holiday who arranged everything for us - picking us from Delhi airport, driving to hotel, to various famous landmarks, arranging good tour guides. It's our first time to visit India. Alkof Holiday made our trip stress-free. We want to come back again,

Taj Mahal Agra India Amazing Building
#timetotravel
Taj Mahal is widely considered one of the most beautiful buildings ever created. The exquisite marble structure in Agra, India, is a mausoleum, an enduring monument to the love of a husband for his favorite wife. It's also an eternal testament to the artistic and scientific accomplishments of a wealthy empire.
Shah Jahan, “the King of the World,” took control of the Mughal Empire throne in 1628 very much in love with the queen he dubbed Mumtaz Mahal or “Chosen One of the Palace.” The poets at Agra’s Mughal court said her beauty was such that the moon hid its face in shame before her.
The Mughals were at the peak of their power and wealth during Shah Jahan’s reign, and India’s rich lode of precious gems yielded him much wealth and power. But he was powerless to stop Mumtaz Mahal’s death during childbirth in 1631. Legend has it that she bound him with a deathbed promise to build her the most beautiful tomb ever known.

Tranquil Mehtab Bagh: Taj Mahal's Viewpoint
During my visit to Agra, I made sure to add the Mehtab Bagh viewpoint to my itinerary. The gardens are well-maintained and provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's an ideal spot to relax and take in the beauty of the Taj Mahal from across the river.
The Mehtab Bagh viewpoint offers a unique vantage point to admire the Taj Mahal, with the river Yamuna flowing between the two landmarks. I was struck by how serene and beautiful the scene was, and it truly captured the essence of the Mughal era.
The best part about visiting the Mehtab Bagh viewpoint is that it is much less crowded than other viewpoints in Agra, such as the Agra Fort or the Taj Ganj area. I found it to be a peaceful spot that allowed me to admire the Taj Mahal at my own pace without the distractions of large crowds.
Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Mehtab Bagh viewpoint to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Taj Mahal from a different perspective. It's a tranquil and picturesque setting that will leave you with a sense of peace and wonder.#urbanexplorer #awesomepic

Elegance of Mughal Architecture"
Mughal architecture is a style of architecture developed in India during the Mughal Empire, which lasted from the 16th to the 19th century. This architectural style is known for its grandeur, elegance, and use of intricate details and decorations.
One of the most notable examples of Mughal architecture is the Taj Mahal, a mausoleum that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture, with its white marble exterior adorned with intricate carvings, calligraphy, and precious stones.
Another famous example of Mughal architecture is the Red Fort in Delhi, which was also built by Emperor Shah Jahan. The Red Fort is a sprawling complex that includes palaces, gardens, and pavilions, all built in the classic Mughal style. The red sandstone walls of the fort are adorned with delicate carvings, and the interior of the palace is decorated with intricate inlay work and ornate frescoes.
Mughal architecture is also known for its use of symmetry and balance, as seen in the layout of the gardens and water features in many Mughal structures. The use of light and shadow is another characteristic of Mughal architecture, with many structures featuring intricate latticework and screens that filter light and create a play of light and shadow.

At the Taj Mahal, I met a friend who specifically flew from the United States to India just to catch a glimpse of the Taj Mahal (and then flew away). It was her great love miracle in her heart.

TAJ MAHAL ❤️ symbol of LOVE ❤️
Taj Mahal, also spelled Tadj Mahall, mausoleum complex in Agra, western Uttar Pradesh state, northern India. The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahān (reigned 1628–58) to immortalize his wife Mumtaz Mahal (“Chosen One of the Palace”), who died in childbirth in 1631, having been the emperor’s inseparable companion since their marriage in 1612.
In its harmonious proportions and its fluid incorporation of decorative elements, the Taj Mahal is distinguished as the finest example of Mughal architecture, a blend of Indian, Persian, and Islamic styles.

Day trip to the Taj Mahal
I was in New Delhi and only had a day to spare. so I booked a bus from my hotel to Taj Mahal. I paid 1200 INR for a return bus ticket. It came with a guide which was really useful. they spoke in English too which was helpful. I had to buy tickets to the entrance of the Taj Mahal on the spot but it wasn’t a big deal. they even take you to places for lunch and other shopping destinations. overall it was a great day trip.
