《🇰🇷Korean style cafe in Jeju Island, Tai Po☕️|The largest and most spacious cafe in Hong Kong! Low price-performance ratio? ! 》
Recently, Tai Po District has become a mecca for new cafes✨. Many coffee shops have opened in this area, and each one has a unique style🤩!
This time we came to the most popular Jeju Island style Korean cafe☕️, located in Tai Mei Tuk, far away from the city. Because of the suburban location, it can transform a village house into a 3-storey coffee shop☕️, becoming the largest and most spacious cafe in Hong Kong.
The bottom floor is the ordering area, where customers need to order and pick up their own food. Previously, due to the overcrowding on weekends, there was a long wait and early order cut-off. This time, we chose a weekday at noon and there was no such situation, but there were still many diners coming to visit.
The first and second floors are the dining areas. The second floor has a higher and wider view, and you can see the Tai Mei Tuk Lake view from afar⛲️ As for the interior, there are long tables and benches, so you don’t have to worry about finding a seat~ The brown-red bricks are matched with light gray walls🧱, creating an industrial feel. It is worth appreciating that even the location of the toilet is carefully designed!
The rooftop is also open to diners to check in and take photos. In autumn, you can go up there to enjoy the breeze 🌿 and look at the green mountain and lake views opposite. It is a feeling that no coffee shop in Hong Kong has ever achieved 🥹
But as for the drinks and food, the prices are relatively high. Coffee drinks are priced at an average of $55-70, and non-coffee drinks are priced at $65-$75. I ordered a strawberry latte ($75), which has strawberry pulp, but the taste is sweet, normal and not too special. The coffee milk foam is not rich enough, and the latte art effect is not accurate.
Overall, Tamora is definitely a good place to check in and relax, but the food variety is not enough, and the quality of drinks still has room for improvement. It is recommended to visit again when the heat cools down👌
▫️How to get there
