Min recommends going in the evening, the atmosphere is very nice.
It is located by the irrigation canal, the wind is cool and comfortable.
But they don't sell food for the deer.
I happened to meet a kind person who shared some bananas with me.
So I got to feed the deer. You have to bring your own food.
People often misunderstand that it is the Khiem Bridge.
It is a different place, you have to drive a little further.

Suspension Bridge, Chill Spring Walk
#springitinerary Visited the Suspension Bridge in Bang Luek during my spring trip and honestly, it was such a fun and peaceful spot. The bridge itself is long, slightly bouncy, and stretches over a calm river with trees all around, super chill atmosphere. Spring weather made it perfect: warm with a nice breeze, so the walk felt refreshing. The coolest part? Deer just casually roaming nearby! They’re usually chilling close to the bridge, and if you’re quiet, you can get pretty close without scaring them off. The whole area feels very laid-back and natural, not crowded at all, which makes it even better for just relaxing and enjoying the view.
Great spot for some nature photos or just a quiet escape from town. Bring water, wear comfy shoes, and take your time crossing. It’s not a long visit, but definitely a memorable one. If you're nearby, swing by, it’s low-key awesome.

Deer Viewing Bridge, Chumphon.
The place is okay, with many deer. It's quite strange to see so many deer on such a small island instead of in the forest. The entrance is free, and deer food is available for purchase. You can feed the deer and take photos. There are various food vendors, making it a mini-market. There's no parking lot, so you have to park along the road. The locals are very friendly, always recommending and inviting visitors. You can buy bananas to feed the deer.

Deer watching bridge is a suspension bridge and then a wooden walkway for tourists to walk and see the deer on the island.
Located next to the irrigation canal, there are buffaloes eating grass. And along the way, there are local shops selling (delicious papaya salad 🥰)
In addition to watching the deer, you can also buy bananas to throw to the deer. I just found out that deer eat bananas.
The disadvantage is that there is no bathroom. You have to go to the government center on the opposite side. I recommend taking care of your business before coming.

Deer watching bridge
The history of this deer watching bridge started from the problems of Chumphon people who had to face the problem of flooding frequently. Due to the topography of the city, it is in a low-lying area, making it difficult to drain water. The problem often occurred and the damage was quite severe. King Rama IX saw the suffering of the people who often faced it. Therefore, he had an idea and granted his own funds. He ordered the digging of a canal to create a drainage system for the monkey cheeks to store and hold a large amount of water. He named it the Nong Yai Project and dug a large canal to connect the drainage to the sea. Since then, the problem of flooding has never happened again.
