The surging Nujiang River and the steep cliffs of Gaoligong Mountain surround the camp with wildness. The 500㎡ open-air tent camp is set under the starry sky. On the first floor, 9 spacious guest rooms have been developed. The hotel has paved an entire high wall with the Nu ethnic group's "Longbula," which is the roofing material of traditional wooden houses in Wuli Village—shale collected from the mountains, to dialogue with the natural wisdom of Wuli Village. Below the wall, an indoor green garden is created with gravel, moss, and ferns, bringing a touch of cheerful green folds to the space. The light and shadow are flickering, naturally lively. The indoor colors are simple and rustic, the lighting is dim and subtle, and the only bright spot is the daylight reflected by the Nujiang River outside the window. When night falls, the village sleeps quietly, leaving only the sound of the surging Nujiang River and the increasingly distant inner thoughts.

The camp has a total of 9 guest rooms, built with the traditional wooden materials of Wuli Village—shale collected from the mountains to form high walls. The designer uses this to converse with the natural wisdom of Wuli Village. They are lined up on the first floor, with each window facing the Nujiang River and Wuli Village on the opposite bank. The interior colors are simple and rustic, allowing a sense of connection with nature. There are also many interesting outdoor activities to experience here. For example, you can follow rangers deep into the protected area to explore, deeply experience wildlife protection work, learn how to use infrared cameras, and under the guidance of rangers, identify animal trails, install infrared cameras, and collect memory cards, receiving mysterious gifts from the protected area. Additionally, the camp's truffle buffet restaurant is highly recommended, where you can taste unforgettable black truffle delicacies!

Thanks to a friend, I had the chance to stay at the Misty Mountain Campsite Hotel before its official opening and had a 100% authentic experience. The hotel is situated opposite Misty Village and has been converted from an existing visitor center. Nestled against the mountain with a water-facing view, the scenery is absolutely stunning. The building materials include local shale stone, and the surrounding landscape is designed to integrate with the terrain, blending seamlessly with the entire site. The hotel's rooftop serves as a viewing platform, offering panoramic views of the Nu River, the stone cliffs, and Misty Village. Around 8 o'clock in the morning, you can witness the spectacular sight of morning mist enveloping the landscape above Misty Village. Along the river, the hotel has set up wooden platforms for tent pitching. Imagine camping here, falling asleep to the sound of the Nu River, and waking up to a magnificent river view right outside your tent—it's an unimaginable experience. Additionally, the hotel's ground floor houses a Kolon store and an exhibition hall featuring local specialties. Along the river, there's a long window that brings the entire Nu River into the room, allowing guests to dine by the window with an absolutely amazing view. Now, let's talk about the rooms. The hotel has only nine guest rooms, but all of them face the Nu River, offering expansive river views. The rooms are furnished with handcrafted natural materials and carefully selected furniture, providing a warm and tactile experience. We visited in winter, which was still a bit chilly. It would be more suitable to go when the weather is warmer, and the camping experience would definitely be enhanced.

Down the mountain and into the foggy camp In Yunnan, I stayed at the Hotel of Life A nine-day and eight-night end-of-year trip, the last stop was Wuli Village. In this place where gods and humans coexist deep in Yunnan, I stayed at the Hotel of Life, which is the newly opened Wuli Camp Hotel down the mountain. There are only 9 rooms in total, all facing the Nujiang River and Wuli Village. The hotel lobby has a whole wall of glass windows for viewing the scenery, and there is also a viewing platform on the top floor of the hotel. In the early morning when the fog has not dissipated, the entire hotel is like shrouded in clouds and fog, it's incredibly beautiful. Later, there will be a self-camping area and vacation cabins open here, and Wuli Village is also very suitable for hiking. The scenery along the way is captivating, I want to go again when it's warmer~
