Pelangi waterfall located at sungai lembing. It's not easy to get there, so it's very peaceful place. Planning to go to waterfall, u should book 2 nights hotel or chalet at sungai lembing thru trip. Com We start our expedition to waterfall at 6am using 4x4, every vehicle can bring only 4 person and its recommended to book by group of 4 including kids. Price range rm70-100 per person. #celebratewithtrip The Rainbow Waterfall is one of the most prominent landmarks of Sungai Lembing. It's been named "rainbow waterfall" because the sun reflecting on the waterfall in the morning (around 9/10AM) produces a rainbow. Our four-wheeled drive picked us up at around 6AM in the morning for breakfast. On our way to the waterfall, our ride stopped on an open hilltop, for us to enjoy the sunrise. The view was simply spectacular.

Panorama Hill is a lovely spot to hike to in the wee morning, for sunrise and sea of cloud. One can start early as 5+ for a sunrise hike, but we didn't as it was cloudy day with unlikely sunrise to be witnessed. However, the sea of cloud was really something, smoldering the whole town in a thick cloud and calmness. Parking by the roadside near the little rest area and toilet at the foot of the hill is available for free. After the hike, one could easily head down to the nearby marketplace for breakfast and coffee with the locals. A great place to see the magnificent sunrise and sea of clouds. #freehotelstay From Cherating, we went for a short day trip to Sungai Lembing. Sungai Lembing is famous for a few things: The rainbow waterfall, the mining town and food like Lembing mee ( Lin Ming Mian) and niang tofu. It was a bit hard for us to wake early for rainbow waterfall with 2 kids hence we skipped that and went straight to Lembing town. we had their famous noodles and tried the beancurd. After lunch we went to the Sungai Lembing museum, explore and learn more about the history of the museum. It was quite a nice museum tbh. Before getting back to Cherating, we dropped by the other waterfall for a quick dip and water play. This sums up our short day trip at Sungai Lembing. We will definitely back for rainbow waterfall next time
