Sun Yat-sen Penang Base Memorial Hall, also known as Sun Yat-sen Revolutionary Base, was built in the 18th century and served as the base camp for Chinese revolutionary leader Mr. Sun Yat-sen (also known as Sun Yat-sen) to plan the revolution from 1909 to 1911. Mr. Sun Yat-sen lived here several times when he went south. Therefore, you can see precious items such as Mr. Sun Yat-sen's calligraphy and the first revolutionary party newspaper here.

Sun Yat Sen Museum Penang ✨
A great place to learn about the whole life and struggle of Sun Yat Sen and co. Entrance fee is RM10 for adults, local and tourists alike. The exhibits are simple and straight to the point, nothing gimmicky or interactive. They are all facts and most are pictures rather than physical models.
Very informative on history behind Dr Sun Yat Sen and the revolution. From his birth until his demise. There are also two added bonus as you can learn how Japanese invaded and ravaged Malaysia and Singaporean Peninsula by World War 2, and also a small transportation museum.
To make it a complete Sun Yat Sen experience in Penang, you need to also visit the Sun Yat Sen Penang Base. ❤️

Penang Story, the Old Dream of Nanyang
[Station]Previous articleAfter visiting Kuala Lumpur, I took the train to Penang.
[Island] Penang is a state with an island called "Penang". In the northeast of the island is a town called "George Town". The main cultural attractions are all in George Town, which has also been listed as a World Cultural Heritage.
[Cat] Although it is a place where Chinese people gather, what I see more are Muslim women in headscarves and dark-skinned Indians, which is also a beautiful landscape.
[Monkey] I went to several attractions:
Sun Yat-sen Penang Base Memorial Hall[Purse]
Zhang Fatt Tze's Former Residence (Blue House)[Purse]
Overseas Chinese Museum[Purse]
Komtar TOP[Purse]
Fire Station, Little India, Chinatown and the Jetty Clan Bridge are free check-in spots where you can easily take a photo and become an internet celebrity.
[LikeUU] This place is very suitable for young girls or photography enthusiasts to check in and travel slowly. Of course, other attractions further away include Penang Hill and the beach. I didn't go to the beach because I had been to many before. When I went to Penang Hill, I found that there were too many people queuing for the cable car, so I gave up. Then we went to the Komtar Observation Deck where we could overlook the entire George Town.
📱All the photos were taken with a mobile phone, and they are definitely not as good-looking as those taken with a professional camera, but as long as I am satisfied with it, that's fine.
[Happy] The last thing I want to say is that traveling is about taking it slow and savoring it. You don’t have to follow other people’s travel guides. As long as you can relax yourself, heal yourself, and satisfy your soul, it is the best trip that suits you best!

Sun Yat-sen Museum Penang
#penangtrip The 'Sun Yat-sen Museum Penang' is in a historic house and is a must for people interested in the history of China. For those that don't know, here is 'Sun Yat-sen' in a nutshell!
He devised many of his plans to overthrow the Qing Dynasty in the museum building. In 1910, acting on the immense support among overseas Chinese for the ousting of the Qing dynasty, Sun moved the southeast Asian headquarters of the Tongmenghui party to Penang.
Read more if you are interested, but a visit to this museum will greatly help, too.
Entrance is 10 ringgits and there is always someone on duty to explain and show you around.
