The presentation of each dish is full of artistic sense, and the color matching and ingredient arrangement are very beautiful. Sun Sun Warung in Ubud is a popular warung for tourists. It was full when I visited at night, but it is recommended to visit in the morning when there are fewer people. The seating has the atmosphere of a Balinese home, the beautiful presentation, and the low price are probably the reasons for its popularity. The food is mildly seasoned and easy to eat. I ordered sayur urab Rp25,000,00, nasi campur Rp45,000, fried spring rolls Rp28,000,00, and kombucha ginger Rp35,000, for a total of Rp152,950 (about 1,500 yen) including tax. A mixed fruit juice with a choice of three fruits was about Rp30,000 (about 300 yen), which is reasonable for a warung for tourists.

Perhaps the word 'warung' (Indonesian for "small cafe/eatery") would be a misnomer for this Ubudian restaurant, due to the spaciousness of its interior befitting a Balinese palace. Despite its central location on Ubud main street, its expansive interior remains a secret until one walks into it, for its resplendent façades are no giveaways to this fact. It has two entrances, three storeys, antique wooden furniture, a sprawling outdoor seating area, two kitchens and two bars, adobe walls decorated with framed paintings, and high thatched ceilings and roofs. Its menu offers a good array of Balinese dishes and drinks - including the warung's renowned 'Nasi Campur Langit' which means 'Mixed Rice from the Sky', blue rice, infused with 'eagle flower' and served with a round of Balinese traditional side dishes served in a wicker basket, lined with banana leaves. Also a specialty of this restaurant is the pay as you wish 'arak' dispenser booth, where you could get a taste of this delectable Balinese liquor. Speaking of Bali, it's beach resorts 🏝️ So the first thing that comes to mind is marine sports and beach clubs ⛱️ I had such an active image. However, here in Ubud, there are many spots that indoor people can enjoy 🌿 1. Sun Sun Warung Let's start with the food 🍽️ The specialty "Nasi Campur" A set meal of rice and side dishes on one plate A specialty of Bali. By the way, "warung" means restaurant. There are many restaurants with the name "warung" in Ubud. A set with a drink and dessert is about 1000 yen. I recommend a seat on the veranda. The garden is full of greenery and soothing. The seasoning is easy to eat and is to Japanese tastes. 2. Babi Guling Gung Cung For those who like hearty food, try Babi Guling. Babi Guling is a specialty dish of Bali. Spicy Balinese-style pork bowl 🐷 made with every part of the pork. This restaurant is available from around 500 yen. Drinks are also under 100 yen! It had a very local atmosphere. Babi guling is quite spicy, so be careful if you don't like spicy food ⚠️ 3. Sweet Orange Walk Trail After a good meal, Jalan-jalan is a walk along the rice field. Jalan-jalan means walk in Indonesian. Walking around a narrow road that cars can't pass. You can see local people farming, and a cafe will appear on the way. The greenery will heal you ☘️ 4. Karsa Spa If you get tired, take a break at the spa. This Karsa Spa is quite famous in Ubud. It's not a high-end spa, but a local spa, so you can have a full-fledged spa experience at an affordable price. I added a spice bath to my Balinese massage and body scrub course. I was surprised by the bright red bath, but there were lots of roots and leaves in it. The water was lukewarm, but it gradually warmed up and I felt the power of the spices. Fruit and sweet tea were served during bath time 🥭 It's a popular shop, so I recommend making a reservation. It's far from the center, so you can also ask for a shuttle when you make a reservation 🙆♀️ 5.Clear Cafe When you come back to Ubud city, you can walk around and enjoy shopping at a variety store, and it can get hot and exhausting, or you might get hit by a sudden downpour. At times like that, take a break at a cafe ☕️ This is a cafe I recommend. It's rare overseas to take off your shoes before entering. There are sofa seats as well as tatami seats. It's open-air and well-ventilated, and it's a wonderful space that feels like a mix of Western Europe and Bali. There is also Wi-Fi, so you can do some light work. In addition to this, there are cooking classes, yoga, shopping around general stores, searching for Balinese cosmetics, and more. Nasi Campur (Balinese-style rice) I ordered Nasi Goreng Roll, Morning Glory, and 2 glasses of cola When I finally paid, I found out It was 150,000 rupees How much is 150,000 rupees? It's 13,000 won in Korean currency.. Great value for money.. I only saved it on Google Maps, so I didn't know how cheap it was, but I ordered 4 and it was so cheap I thought it was 130,000 won for a moment🤣 ✨Nasi Campur is Balinese-style rice Rice, beef skewers, chicken legs, fried food, fried tofu? And it consists of vegetables. The price is 3,300 won. It tasted a little spicy, but it wasn't too bad! ✨Fried rice nasi goreng is really highly recommended. 3,000 won of happiness.. The yolk came out soft and half-boiled, so I really liked it. Definitely order it!!! ✨The crispy roll is a decent taste! It's a roll with vegetables inside.
