SIPPING COLD DRINKS AT KUANTAN AIRPORT BEFORE THE FLIGHT
#favouriteitinerary
At Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport, Bean and Bites Cafe is the only spot to grab a drink before the departure hall, mostly frequented by patrons flying out.
With not much else to do, we snagged a seat and chilled with some cold drinks, matcha and iced tea.
The prices were standard, just like any other cafe.
We skipped the food since we weren’t hungry and there wasn’t any on display anyway.
Seats are limited, so get there early if you want a spot !

Suggestion Camel Ride Trip From Xi’an
We are family of 5 willing to Xi’an around 1st Jan 2026. We’re looking for a driver (some basic English is fine) and transport for a round trip from Xi’an to Yinchuan for 3 days and 2 nights—we want to try the camel ride experience. We’re skipping Zhangye since it’s too far, even by speed train, and our time is quite short.
Thanks

FLYING IN AND OUT OF KUANTAN AIRPORT FOR THE FIRST TIME, A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE
#favouriteitinerary
We were flying into Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport for the first time and were so excited.
It’s a small, cozy airport with a walk from the plane to the terminal.
There’s a taxi kiosk, hotel booking service and grab cars pick up point to whisk you away upon arrival.
Grab a snack or drink at the convenient store and cafe, only one is available, before heading to the departure hall.
With only Scoot flying to Singapore and Malaysia Airlines for domestic flights to KL, it would be amazing if AirAsia joined in, making it even easier to explore Kuantan’s stunning beaches, just a 40 minute flight away !
