Service Experience I must say, the performance of the front desk staff varied. My friend stayed in a Peppa Pig-themed room last year. When I made my booking, I didn't see any themed rooms, so I asked the front desk if I could upgrade on the spot for an additional fee, specifically requesting the Peppa Pig-themed room. However, the front desk staff said that they had never had this type of room. I then asked about the price of the Octonauts-themed room, and she replied that it would cost about CNY 200 extra, but the room was not ready yet and asked me to wait. After waiting for an hour, a different front desk staff member processed my check-in. The prices are relatively affordable, but the overall environment and facilities are quite ordinary. The children's train costs CNY 50 per ride for one adult and one child, and circles the hotel. A bag of carrots is provided, and the train stops at the petting zoo, which has pigs and rabbits, but the odor is strong. The slide is located in the Starry Sky Camp, which is not very attractive to children. There is also a paid picking garden, but it was not open when we went because the fruit was not ripe. IV. Breakfast Review The buffet breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options. The rib noodles were excellent and memorable. Cycling on Shengliandao Island is really pleasant. There are not many motor vehicles or tourists on the island, and families can chat while cycling. You can also use the train to travel to and from your room, which is very convenient. 2️⃣ Visit the indoor arcade (open on weekends and holidays, enjoy bumper cars and pirate ships). It's perfect for all ages, especially for families to have a blast. 3️⃣ Enjoy the water park, the ultimate summer treat. 4️⃣ Go camping and barbecuing. The island is suitable for running, cycling, and walking, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing time. Although dining options on the island are limited, requiring guests to drive out for food, and motorcycles are not allowed on the island, with food delivery relying on Didi, this also reflects the tranquility and safety of the island. The hotel's service is commendable. We were able to check in smoothly at around 11 am and were allowed to check out at 2 pm, which is very convenient for families with nap needs and lots of luggage. As for the rooms, we chose a more economical room type, but it was spacious, with a large table and two chairs. Even the most basic room type has a bathtub, providing a high level of comfort. The beds in the twin room are 1.5 meters wide, enough for a comfortable sleep for one adult and one child. The shower has a strong water flow, and the air conditioning is very effective in cooling down the room. The restaurant is creatively designed, with breakfast and lunch/dinner in different areas. I stayed here on a Friday for CNY 375, and there was a flash sale for 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. With the Titanium Elite benefits, the actual cost was less than CNY 200 per night. The hotel is located on Shenglian Island in the middle of the Fujiang River in Suining, and is connected to the mainland by tunnels. It's very convenient to take a taxi here. The hotel lobby is very high and grand. The front desk is located in the four corners of the lobby. I was upgraded to a corner king room. I arrived late and didn't experience the happy hour. The hotel didn't provide welcome fruit. The room is in a typical Marriott style. The bathroom has a sliding door and is open-plan. There's a separate oval bathtub and a small cloakroom in the room. You can see the tent area and fruit trees by the road from the room. The hotel is located on a small island in the river, so it's very quiet at night and great for resting. The hotel has a full range of fitness facilities, but no swimming pool. There's a third-party water park nearby that requires an additional fee. There's also a children's play area, a children's train, and starry sky tents, all of which require an additional fee. Overall, the hotel is very family-friendly and great for a holiday with kids. But Suining is really suitable for a leisurely stroll, feeling the slow pace. ⛩ Lingquan Scenic Area: Surrounded by mountains, with ancient-style architecture, you can overlook the Suining city area. ⛩ Guangde Scenic Area: Guangde Temple, where the commercial atmosphere is not so strong. Recently, there is a free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) trial event, where you can wear Hanfu and stroll around the temple. 🌊 Shenglian Island to see the sea - Stay at the cheapest Marriott, known as the 'Little Sanya'. In summer, lotuses bloom, and in winter, tulips. You can rent a bicycle to ride around the lake. To go to Shenglian Island, you can take a boat from the pier for free. ⛩ Longfeng Ancient Town: A quiet town by the river. I've written a special article about it before, so I won't say much more. You can plan to soak in the hot springs here, and play the next day. It's quite suitable for a family trip. In the evening, you can also enjoy the night view of Suining, which is really nice.
