[2025 Senggigi Stay] Travel Guide for Sudamala Resort, Senggigi, Lombok (Updated Mar)

Stayed over in the beachfront Sunset Suites situated at level 1, facing the pool & beach. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Toilet is huge plus an outdoor shower. Booked the in house private tour to Gili Trawangan. Everything was handled by the resort and its hassle free. I departed Lombok via fastboat heading to Bali after my stay there. As my departing time is early, resort took the initiative to pack breakfast without me requesting. Appreciate the small gesture. Lombok is quite chill. The west coast has glassy waters all morning. Before leaving from Senggigi Beach Hotel, I was hesitant about which hotel to choose. After checking out a few alternatives, I realized I could have chosen any of them blindly. My options were Katamaran Resort, Jeeva Santai Villas, and Sudamala Resorts. If your budget is around IDR 2,500,000, I highly recommend The Secret Villas & Spa. The entire Lombok beach seems to have the same clarity you'd only expect from a boat trip in Thailand. The sunset in the evening is also stunning, with views of the volcano on Bali across the water. For now, I don't need to go anywhere else, and I'm not even thinking about an intense hike up Mount Rinjani.
