Experience a Unique Sightseeing Journey with the Macau Light Rail
For those traveling to Macau, I highly recommend trying out the city's only rail transit system—the Macau Light Rail. Enjoy the city's scenery from above, offering a unique and special perspective. This advanced transportation system is driverless, safe, comfortable, and free from traffic jams.
My sightseeing route starts from the Macao Peninsula's Maceo Station and goes all the way to the Taipa Ferry Terminal. Along the way, you'll pass by various architecturally unique and stunning resorts in Cotai, including Galaxy, Venetian, Parisian, Studio City, MGM, and Wynn Palace. You'll also pass by Macau International Airport before reaching the Taipa Ferry Terminal. Sitting on the train and looking through the large windows at the charming cityscape is truly mesmerizing. Photography enthusiasts will not be disappointed; just bring your camera or phone, and you're sure to capture beautiful scenic photos to share on social media, garnering plenty of likes. I took many photos along the way and would like to share some with you here.
Macau Light Rail Operating Hours:
Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM - 11:15 PM
Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays: 6:30 AM - 11:59 PM
Tickets: MOP 6-12, depending on the number of stations traveled

Studio City Hotel in Macau: SANRIO CHARACTERS Collaboration
The Studio City Hotel in Macau is collaborating with popular Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Gudetama. The mall and hotel feature numerous photo spots for Sanrio fans to take pictures, shop, and redeem gifts. Additionally, many restaurants have adopted Sanrio-themed decorations.
Studio City also distributes various Sanrio-themed gifts for free. During our visit, we happened to receive popcorn packaged in a special My Melody design, which was a delightful surprise.

A Beginner-Friendly Vacation Spot Even Simpler Than Japan
My trip to Macau was filled with countless surprises and wonderful memories. Our first stop was the Fisherman's Wharf. The European-style architecture and streets made it feel like we were in a Mediterranean town. The most impressive part was the Roman Amphitheatre, where the grand architecture gave us a sense of ancient Rome's historical atmosphere. We strolled around the amphitheatre, admiring the ancient and majestic structures, as if we had traveled back in time.
Next, we visited the Eiffel Tower at The Parisian Macao. Although we didn't go up to the observation deck, standing beneath the tower, we could still feel its grandeur. At night, the tower lit up, creating a romantic and unforgettable scene.
The Big Ben at The Londoner was our next destination. The towering clock tower exuded a strong British vibe. We took many photos, immersing ourselves in the unique atmosphere.
At Studio City's Figure-8 Ferris wheel, we admired this world's first from a distance. The Ferris wheel, sparkling with lights against the night sky, was particularly spectacular.
Finally, we dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant at Wynn Palace. The cuisine was unparalleled, each dish an artwork. We savored multiple exquisite dishes, each bite filled with surprise and satisfaction. After the meal, we enjoyed the musical fountain show at Wynn Palace, which perfectly concluded our trip.
On this trip to Macau, there used to be more bus services, but now with the metro, it's actually less convenient, requiring more walking. Nevertheless, Macau deeply impressed me with its charm and diversity. Each attraction offered a different experience, each moment full of surprises. I look forward to my next visit to Macau, to explore more of its beauty.

Best photo spots for City Walk in Macau
After four years, I came back to Macau for a city walk, and I am still captivated by this dazzling city.
Macau during the day is quite ordinary, but at night, the whole city is dazzling and glamorous 🎡.
Here are some popular photo spots for those who need them:
Photo 1 🗼 Eiffel Tower at The Parisian: From the side door of the Sheraton Hotel, walk out to the garden. Make sure to go early in the morning to avoid the queue. By noon, it gets hot and sunny, and you might end up sweating and ruining your makeup.
Photo 2 🌉 The Londoner: You can take photos at the entrance of the Sheraton Hotel. Remember to turn on the flash on your phone 📸️ to make the photos look bright and beautiful with a nice background.
Photos 3 and 4 🪟 Uniqlo on the second floor next to the Ruins of St. Paul’s: If you go on a weekend afternoon, you might have to queue for more than half an hour, but it’s worth it for the atmosphere compared to taking photos directly in front of the ruins.
Photo 5 ⛲️ Fountain at Wynn Palace: A famous spot that needs no introduction. The fountain is absolutely stunning.
Photo 6 The Londoner 🔔, Photo 7 Studio City Ferris Wheel 🎡, Photo 8 Macau Peninsula.

Stunning Cotai View Room at Studio City Macau
I went to the water park at Studio City Macau on a weekday in June and booked a twin room. Luckily, I got upgraded to a Cotai view room, and I was amazed by the view as soon as I opened the door. The Eiffel Tower, The Parisian, and The Londoner were all in sight, and the beautiful night view of Cotai was right before my eyes. There was no need to go anywhere else for photos or to see the night view. I would consider staying at Studio City Macau again next time, and I'd make sure to pay a little extra for a room with a Cotai view. Additionally, Studio City Macau was very generous, with all snacks, food, and drinks at the minibar being free!

Go on vacation to Macau, this hotel is comfortable to stay in and fun to play at.
Now the prices of hotels in Macau are really worth it. This video shares four hotels that are worth stocking up on, good to stay at, and fun.
❶First one: The Parisian Macao Hotel
🔸Room: We stayed in a deluxe king room, which is mainly decorated in gold and red. The size is not particularly large, but overall it is average.
🔸Public areas: In addition to guest rooms, there are also shopping areas in the hotel. There are quite a few shops in the mall, and if you want to eat, there is a food court on the 5th floor.
🔸Guests can use their room key to visit the observation deck on the 5th floor for photos and sightseeing. You can take a photo with the iron tower on the observation deck.
This is also the ticket office for the iron tower. If you want to visit the tower, you can buy tickets here.
🔸The garden opposite the Parisian Hotel (opens at 10am) is the best spot to take photos of the Eiffel Tower (you need to cross the street).
The large lawn in the garden, the seats next to the lawn, and the maze next to them are all classic shooting positions for taking photos with the Eiffel Tower.
2nd location: Londoner Macao Hotel
🔸The dreamy Londoner is undoubtedly a super eye-catching building, as if traveling to London when you come here.
🔸There are many elements of British style in the hotel, and the not-to-be-missed one is the Alice afternoon tea in the Churchill restaurant.
🔸In the lobby on the first floor of the hotel, the architecture of the hotel's first floor is very beautiful: arched doors and windows, black and white floor tiles, warm yellow lighting, all of which make this place full of British style.
In the hotel, there are photo spots such as a red British bus and a spinning teacup.
❸Third one: Studio City Hotel
🔸The rooms at Star River Mirage are dominated by natural wood colors, with standard room configurations and an overall modern minimalist feel.
The design of two sinks in the bathroom is quite convenient for two girls to stay.
🔸There is an outdoor water park and swimming pool in the hotel. Although the facilities in the water park are relatively few, they are enough to play and are more suitable for bringing children.
🔸On the third floor of the hotel, there is an outdoor garden, which is also a good spot to take photos of the 8-shaped Ferris wheel.
🔸Whether you stay or not, you can ride the hotel's figure-eight Ferris wheel for a price of MOP100 per person.
This 8-shaped Ferris wheel is the tallest 8-shaped Ferris wheel in Asia, standing at 130 meters high.
4th location: The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel
🔸The Venetian is considered one of the oldest hotels in Macau. The overall architecture and shopping mall here are built in the Venetian style, which is very exotic.
🔸The shopping mall inside the hotel has an artificial river where you can experience riding a gondola.
🔸However, the rooms in this hotel are slightly older compared to other ones.

We came together with my friends and cousins to enjoy the white party. Arrived before 12midnight and all drinks were free flow until the party finished. Dj plays nice and lovely music. They also have dancers on the floor entertaining everyone. My friends enjoyed the night and they will come back next time with their colleagues. Thank you so much for wonderful night!

The location is great and transportation is convenient.
This time, I stayed at Studio City Hotel with my family. The service was good, but there were too many guests during these days. So, we had to wait a long time to check in and get our room. The room wasn't very big, but it was very clean. They provided drinks and snacks for guests, which was very thoughtful.
The breakfast was okay! My family had a great time this trip, and we want to stay for 4 days and 3 nights next time 😂😂. We are very satisfied with this trip 👍🏼

A Stylish and Quality Hotel.
My girlfriend and I have stayed at many hotels in Taipa, Macau. This was our first time staying at your hotel, Studio City, to celebrate my birthday. On the day we arrived, it was my actual birthday. In the past, when celebrating my birthday at hotels, the check-in staff would usually notice and offer birthday wishes, especially since we always inform the hotel in advance about the occasion. During check-in, staff typically notice the guest's birthdate on the ID and say 'Happy Birthday.' However, this time, Donny handled our check-in, and unlike other hotels, he didn't seem to notice or wasn't attentive enough, so I didn't receive any birthday wishes. While this might seem like a minor issue from your perspective, for guests, it can be a pleasant surprise and add points to the hotel's impression. After check-in, we went straight to our room. The room felt great, and the complimentary mini-bar had a variety of options. However, the combined shower and bathtub felt a bit odd. Additionally, the items we requested in advance were not placed in the room. On a positive note, my girlfriend called about some room-related issues, and Elisa, who answered the call, was very polite and helpful. Overall, the experience was good. Lastly, I want to thank Jamis Ao, who kept in touch with my girlfriend after we successfully booked the hotel. Without his help, we might not have checked in smoothly, as my girlfriend kept confusing the hotel name. Also, thanks to Kathy Qiu for the follow-up. Thank you.

Studio City, The Parisian Macao
This time for my trip to Macau, I booked two different hotels through Trip.com, each offering its own surprises. One was luxurious, while the other had a cute cartoon theme. Both hotels provided complimentary birthday cakes. The facilities at both hotels were comprehensive, including restaurants, shops, casinos, and themed photo spots. I also purchased water park tickets from Trip.com. The water park's facilities were thrilling and fun, perfect for cooling off during the hot summer. I was extremely satisfied with this trip and didn't want to leave.

Moment to Remember
We had a wonderful stay at the Studio City. The room was beautiful and the location was just great. We walked to many things, but public transportation and tours were also close by. The breakfast each morning was really good as well and we could each eat on our own schedule. We would certainly stay there again next time we are in Macau

Macau, A Solo Trip
A spontaneous trip has become a habit.
I accidentally saw a video of the Eiffel Tower at The Parisian and decided on the direction for my Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
Hotel Service
From the airport, there is a shuttle bus directly to the hotel (after exiting the airport, turn right → go straight → keep right, it takes about 3 minutes to reach the waiting point). The ride to the hotel takes about 10 minutes. During my stay in Macau, I used the hotel shuttle bus to go everywhere and did not use a taxi 🚕 at all.
😍 Room
Apart from the small window, everything else was fine. I booked a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, and the small window faces the door, giving an immediate view upon entering. I ordered room service for breakfast, just to enjoy that chill.
💞 Shopping
The hotel has The Parisian Mall, and a 3-minute walk to the left leads to The Four Seasons, which has all kinds of luxury brands (I bought a small Gucci top and was given a Gucci ice cream by the sales assistant, which tasted okay). The prices of luxury goods in Macau are similar to those in Shanghai. I bought some spicy snacks at Studio City across the street, which were much cheaper than in mainland China.
💓 Entertainment
Macau Museum CityWalk. Visiting museums is a must wherever I go, and along the way, you can fully appreciate Macau's 'heaven' and 'earth'. (I stumbled upon a noodle shop on the way to the museum, which was very good, a pleasant surprise).
😍 Food
The food at the Chinese Ice Room was delicious. I also went to a snack street (a very small and short food street).
In terms of relaxation and comfort: between Hong Kong and Macau, I might prefer the latter.

Traveling from Zhuhai to Macau, I made a special trip to check in at Sanrio Puroland
I must say, Sanrio characters are really cute. Although I walked back and forth a few times inside the New Yaohan, many young people and children like it.
✔️ There is one in the casino lobby, which is also where the hotel shuttle drops off guests
✔️ There is also one in the Zaiyun Ice Room, especially the Sanrio bus, but there are too many people and not enough seats
✔️ Walk along the food court, and in the second exhibition hall, there is a huge Cinnamoroll
✔️ The children's meal at the ramen restaurant is also Sanrio-themed, and it's available for purchase and tasty 😋
✔️ Around Doki and Manfen Paradise, you can buy them – register as a member in advance to save 88

The Macau water park that's been all the rage! Who knows the joy it brings!
The right way to start summer is definitely with water play
As a seasoned water play enthusiast
I've already gone from Guangzhou to Macau just as summer began
🎈Studio City Water Park
✅The indoor water park is open all year round, and it's temperature-controlled at 30 degrees, so you don't have to worry about the kids catching a cold, whether it's the air or water temperature, which exceeded my expectations
✅The indoor area alone has over a dozen water attractions, and most of them have a height requirement of over 1.1 meters, which is much friendlier for younger children
✅The outdoor area features 'Skytop Rapids' with 5 water slides; multiple slides, waterfalls, and 62 splash points in total, including the eye-catching 'Golden Bucket' that tips over at set times; and the 'Kiddie Pool' area exclusively for children, offering something for everyone.
This place is suitable for all ages, and the whole family can have a fun time playing in the water, full of excitement and FUN
✅Must-try attractions
▪ Skytop Infinity Pool: A transparent glass pool that connects the indoor and outdoor areas, perfect for taking amazing photos, and also one of the kids' favorite attractions
▪ Surf's Up: The city's first indoor surfing simulator, allowing you to experience the joy of surfing indoors (long-sleeved surf suit required)
▪ Rapids Adventure: Drift through a 246-meter-long course of waterfalls, water curtains, and mists, where the kids played 3 rounds and still didn't want to leave
▪ Lost in the Dark Hole: Ride a large raft through a closed water slide, with sharp turns, weightlessness, and spiraling down

🎈Funful Park
The whimsical Funful Park has four floors of space and five themed areas, where babies of all ages can find their favorite activities to play with, and they won't stop playing all day long
🏨Accommodation🏨
We stayed at Studio City Star Tower, which has great lighting and views. Don't forget to visit the French garden on the 3rd floor of the hotel, which is the best spot to frame the world's highest figure-eight Ferris wheel. It's perfect for a stroll after dinner, with few people, beautiful scenery, and great photo opportunities
🥯Dining🥯
【Starlight Restaurant】
They serve super delicious buffet breakfast and dinner here, with various steaks, seasonal seafood, sashimi that you can eat until you're leaning on the wall, and kids have their favorite candies.
For those who love 📸, don't miss the hotel's 'Sanrio' photo spot, super girly!
And for those who love shopping, there's a Donki Don Quijote Japanese supermarket inside the hotel, with a dazzling array of products to choose from!
