Located just one hour away from Glasgow by train, Stirling is definitely the best choice for experiencing the Scottish Highlands on a short trip. Stirling Castle is a must-visit place, once likened to a brooch of Scotland and the former location of the Scottish royal palace. Many of Scotland's historical stories originate from here. The William Wallace Memorial is the reason why I came here. I still think that "Braveheart", which I watched when I was in school, is a classic movie of that era. So I came here to check in. There is a sword used by William Wallace, which is 168cm long. The tower is located on a mountain and requires climbing, so be mentally prepared. The view of the Forth River from the top of the tower is very beautiful, and the terrain map of the Battle of Stirling Bridge can be seen clearly.
