🧊 Even though the cost of living is high, we have to accept it... beautiful views like never before and you can really touch and live a slow life here!
✨ Going back 25 years ago, I first saw the view of this city from a trip to "Jungfrau Peak". We traveled from Zurich by tourist train to Interlaken and had to take a train to Jungfrau Peak, about 12 kilometers away.
🍂 Along the way, we will pass through 2 cities, depending on which city you choose to go to: Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. On the way there, we went up Grindelwald, and on the way back, the train passed Lauterbrunnen and we saw Staubbach Falls, the highest waterfall in the village with a height of 300 meters. We decided to change our plans and get off the train immediately... even though we didn't have a place to stay.
🌳 Stunningly beautiful, the slow life begins here.

Breathtaking Scenic Town Of Lauterbrunnen
One town that you have to visit is the town of Lauterbrunnen simply because if you are looking for views and beauty that take your breath away, it's definitely this town!
Lauterbrunnen is located in a valley where there js the Lauterbrunnen waterfall about 300m high and you can hear the loud roar of the waterfall from a distance away. For an outdoor and hiking enthusiasts 1 day in this town isn't enough due to the many activities situated all around Lauterbrunnen, simply because there is the staubbach falls hike, the murren hike and the trummelbach hike. But I definitely do recommend the Staubbach falls hike because this hike takes you to the top of the falls and the view from above is definitely scenic and will take your breath away fir sure.

Uncovering Switzerland's Hidden Treasures!
#solotrip
I ventured off the beaten path to discover Switzerland's breathtaking hidden gems. Thun's charming Old Town and picturesque lake shores set the tone for an unforgettable journey.
The thrilling pedestrian suspension bridge in Sigriswil offered panoramic views of the Bernese Alps and Lake Thun. Lauterbrunnen's majestic Staubbach Falls left me awestruck.
Interlaken's serene atmosphere and adventure activities made it a highlight. But the true showstopper was Iseltwald's stunning Lake Brienz, where I relived memories of Crash Landing On You.
Switzerland's natural beauty, rich history, and warm hospitality have captivated me.

Swiss town near Interlaken – Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen is known as the town of waterfalls. It is only a 25-minute train ride from Interlaken, and the town has more than 70 waterfalls. The most representative is the Staubbach Falls, which are about 300 meters high. When we arrived in the morning, there was a mix of rain and snow, creating a misty, fairy-tale-like atmosphere. After an hour's walk through the town, the sun came out! So, the scenery today showed different styles before and after, thanks to Mother Nature!

Switzerland | A valley town listed as a world natural heritage site.
Science time:
Lauterbrunnen is a small town in the Interlaken-Oberhasli district of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. It is located to the west of the Jungfrau region and has as many as 72 waterfalls pouring down from the valley cliffs. Therefore, the German translation of Lauterbrunnen is actually "loud spring" (Laut-Brunnen). This town is truly a waterfall town, but I prefer to call it a "fairytale town". The town is hidden in a valley, and at the end of the valley are layers of snow-capped mountains, including the famous Jungfrau. There is a popular hiking trail here, which is said to lead all the way to the back of the waterfall, similar to a water curtain cave.
If time allows, it is strongly recommended to stay here for two days, one day for climbing Shao Nv Peak and one day for visiting Waterfall Town.
Among them, Staubbach Falls is the iconic landscape of the town. The magical land in the movie "The Lord of the Rings", Rivendell, was created based on this small town, with mountains, waterfalls, villages, and snow-capped mountains.

Holy cow!
Our visit to Lauterbrunnen & Staubbach Falls was even more mesmerizing with the cows! Moo moo they go.. We were lucky to witness the alpine cows parade. The cows were beautifully decorated and look even more cuter! The huge bells around their necks were definitely a hit! You could hear them from far. This is end-of-summer tradition as they descend from summer alpine pastures to their winter barns before the snows come. You could also see cowherds and children in beautiful traditional costumes. I bet this is not something you could see everyday. This is something my family and I will remember. Especially my kid!

I loved this town from beginning till end, cosy and friendly people but what a wonderful nature setting over there with the waterfalls and mountains. I look at this area as a one stop shop for lush, green meadows, numerous glacier water falls and stunning, take-your-breath-away panoramic mountain scenery surrounding the entire village at every angle, you wouldn’t know where to look first. This area is perfect for an entire family who is looking to just relax for a few days and temporarily get-away from the daily hustle and bustle of city life.A MUST VISIT

Hiker
The Stau River Falls is a landmark in the town of Lauterbrunnen. Follow the path below the waterfall and climb a small bag first, then turn to the cave. Passing through the black-pressed cave, and hearing the sound of the distant water getting closer and closer, I came to the back of the Shitao River waterfall. Standing on the mountainside, overlooking the town through a water curtain, under the blue sky and white clouds, snow mountains, green grass, cattle, mountain hut, Lauterbrunnen in front of the eyes like a fairy tale world, do not have a flavor.

Today's recommendation is hidden in the numerous waterfalls of Lauterbrunnen, known as the waterfall town in Switzerland, because it is not visible outside, it is a cave waterfall!
From Myron directly take the cable car down to Stechelberg, take the cable car, walk back to Lauterbrunnen, you can see the entire Staubbach Falls waterfall, you can also take the 141 bus, get off the bus, you can see Trummelbach The brand of Falls, this is the legendary cave waterfall! The waterfall is for tickets. SwissPass can't be discounted. 11 Euros. Trummelbach Falls is a spectacle. It is hidden in the cracks between the mountains. There are 20,000 liters of water per second flowing from the glaciers and snow into the valley, and the vortex forms the valley. The deep pool The water flow is very urgent, and the sound of the impact on the stone wall is very deafening. This spot is not famous in China, so I didnt see a tour group, nor did I see other Chinese people... but I I think that after watching the snow-capped mountains in Switzerland, I can see the waterfall again. It feels good!
Trummelbach Falls is one of the Staubbach Falls waterfalls. The entire valley extends to Lauterbrunnen, and every other way there is a waterfall that flows down the hill.
