Traveling to Kota Kinabalu with Royal Brunei Airlines✈︎ I’ve wanted to visit KOTA KINABALU 🇲🇾 for a long time, and finally made it! For my trip to Kota Kinabalu, I flew with Royal Brunei Airlines✈︎ Outbound✈︎ 11:45 Narita Airport (NRT) ↓ 16:45 Brunei International Airport (BWN) Transfer 20:15 Brunei International Airport (BWN) ↓ 20:55 Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) Return✈︎ 21:20 Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) ↓ 22:00 Brunei International Airport (BWN) Transfer 0:35 Brunei International Airport (BWN) ↓ 7:30 Narita Airport (NRT) The seats were arranged in three rows and equipped with monitors and USB ports! For the Narita↔︎Brunei flights, there were in-flight meals, blankets, and pillows provided. *No alcohol was served 🍷🙅♀️ The blanket was super soft and cozy, which I really enjoyed (haha). For the in-flight meals, I chose chicken and rice on the outbound flight, and beef and rice on the return flight 🍚 Before landing, there was a snack service, and the chocolate-filled cookies were delicious 😋 The monitors offered movies and music, but the audio was only available in English or French, and there were no Japanese subtitles. I recommend downloading content from Netflix or similar platforms beforehand. The transfer at Brunei Airport was quick and smooth 🙌 However, most shops and stores at the airport closed by 5:00 PM, so killing time might be a bit challenging 😅 I used the lounge with my Priority Pass, and surprisingly, the food there was quite tasty 😘 The flight from Brunei to Kota Kinabalu felt very short—it was like taking off and landing right away ✈︎ Kota Kinabalu Airport was larger than I expected! For entry into Malaysia, you’ll need to fill out a customs declaration form called the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC). This can be registered online starting three days before your arrival date, including the day of arrival, so completing it in advance is convenient 😉 The cabin crew of Royal Brunei Airlines were all very friendly, making the flight comfortable 😌

Booked airport transfer for an affordable price . Driver was assigned days before the flight and he update us on very elaborated instructions . During the the day of the flight too, he chatted with us and gave a reminder on the instructions given earlier . Upon arrival to the airport, he gave us clear instructions with his location and it took less than 5 mins to find him!! So convenient . Really saved alot of time and hassle. He was so professional and helped us the luggage and doors. This service was very convenient and added on getting this kind hearted drivers ! We ended up reaching the hotel in such short time spend . The time spend from baggage collection to being inside the car and reaching our hotel was so so so efficient !! Really worth it and save us alll the hassle at the crowded airport!!

#3月好去处2025 I went on a long-awaited trip to Kuching, Sarawak. I like the nature and simple and kind people here. The must-try delicacies in Kuching are Kolo Mee, Satay, and the most famous Sarawak Laksa. I met up with my long-lost friends in Kuching (from Sibu). We chatted and the local old streets complemented each other. It has become a part of life. The wonderful four-day and three-night journey left great memories. Kota Kinabalu International Airport is small in size, so the duty-free shops are quite small. I couldn't find any brands worth buying at the duty-free shops in the airport, so I only bought chocolates and magnets as souvenirs. #CanadaFlightEvent Kota Kinabalu Airport is really small. I'll introduce you to the only Starbucks. It's in front of Gate B2, and if you go a little further toward the restaurant, there's a water purifier, so if you want to drink water, don't come to Starbucks. They don't sell bottled water. Coffee is a little more expensive than in Korea! You have to go through security check again at the gate, so you can't bring coffee on board, so only buy it if you want to drink it quickly. #OverseasTravel

#CanadaFlightEvent Kota Kinabalu Airport is smaller than you think. There are no separate boarding and landing gates, so you have to check carefully when getting on and off. Also, the only place to weigh your luggage is the Jeju Air scale in the photo. When you enter the duty-free zone, there is a restaurant and a Starbucks. If you pass the restaurant next to Starbucks, there is a water purifier, so if you only want water, drink it there. Also, there is another security check before getting on the boarding gate, so don't buy water!!!
