Bulgaria is a treasure trove of travel destinations! Before I came, I thought the capital Sofia was nothing special. After a day of exploring, I completely changed my mind. There are so many museums and churches here, you will be amazed. And those cafes and restaurants hidden in the corners, any corner can bring you unexpected surprises💕 Sofia is perfect for a leisurely city walk🚶🏻‍♂️ The main attractions are within walking distance. A day trip is full and fun! ✨Sofia Day Trip ✅Central Mineral Baths (Sofia History Museum) The first stop is the Central Mineral Baths, which is now the Sofia History Museum, showcasing the history and culture of Sofia from the 6th century BC to the 1940s. It is well worth a visit. Next to it is the Banya Bashi Mosque, and it is also nice to admire the architecture from the outside👀 ✅St. Nedelya Church From the Central Mineral Baths, pass by the Church of St. Petka and then head to St. Nedelya Church.⛪️ The Church of St. Petka is built underground and is currently not open to the public, so you can only see the exterior. St. Nedelya Church was first built in the 10th century and has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. What we see now was built in the mid-19th century. ✅St. George Rotunda Then go to the nearby St. George Rotunda, which is the oldest monument in Sofia. After leaving the church, the Largo is not far away, and opposite is the Statue of Saint Sofia, which is a landmark of Sofia and a must-see. ✅National Archaeological Museum This is my favorite museum in Sofia, don't miss it! The sweet and bloody memories of war scab over on the bronze sword, but the pigeons, carrying the sunlight of the new century, fearlessly build their nests in the cracks of the Soviet apartments. The old woman in a black robe measures the cobblestone road with the wrinkles on her face. In her memory, she has counted the sound of Ottoman hooves, the vicissitudes of the fall of the red star, and now, the twinkling Milky Way in the tourists' cameras. And around the corner, the graffiti wall suddenly explodes with fluorescent purple spray paint, and the boy on the skateboard speeds by, crushing the fifteenth-century dusk. You can go to Happy for a meal, but it's best to avoid peak hours or make a reservation in advance, otherwise you'll always be in line. If you want to take a bus to other cities, you need to go to the bus station next to the train station. Note that there are two waiting halls, one large and one small. Flixbus should be in the small one, while other local brands may be in the large waiting hall. It is recommended to arrive early, as the staff is not very reliable.

Its exterior is not very noticeable nor can it be considered beautiful, as it was built on the foundations of several existing churches. In the 2nd century, it was a Roman theater. There are many cemeteries around, and many people hold funerals here, so we did not get too close. (Picture 7) 4⃣ There are many trams on the streets of Sofia, in yellow, green, and blue, which occasionally pass by, creating a picturesque scene. The taxis in Sofia have almost the same color and design as those in Chongqing. If you don't look at the advertisements and company names, you might think you are in Chongqing hailing a taxi . ❤️ Warm tips: The local currency in Bulgaria is the Lev (лев), with 1 Lev being approximately equal to 0.5 euros. The price of 95 octane gasoline is roughly more than 10 yuan, and the prices in supermarkets are a bit higher than in North Macedonia. Larger stores accept card payments and euros, but the change might be given in Levs.
