Beautiful Cathedral! 📍
Massive Cathedral! You can buy family tickets that will save money. There is a security point before entering where they will check bags. We were able to get in pretty quickly without buying tickets ahead of time. So much detail both on the outside and the inside. It is worth visiting the crypt below and taking your time to view the Inscriptions on the floor. The beauty and elegance of these cathedrals kept me in awe. There are toilets down below in the crypt however keep your entrance ticket as they will check to make sure you can re-enter. There is also a souvenir shop and Cafe below in the crypt as well. Princess Diana was married in this Cathedral which was interesting. Plenty of places to sit in the gardens outside

London old and new living in harmony
There are many places in the world where you can find modern buildings. Sky scrapers that have taken the place of a life long past.
In London however you can find the most modern building next to one that has been there over a hunderd years. It is not far from the London City with the Shard, Loyds, the Cheese Grater and other fancy buildings to Tower Bridge, just east or st Paul's Cathedral west and about 5 minutes further one of the few remaining original pubs The Old Chesire Cheese.
The current pub was rebuild after the great fire over 300 years ago and well worth a visit, located at Fleet Street just minutes away from.st Paul's.
I recommend you stay near Tower Bridge in the Indigo hotel and after a good breakfast cross Tower Bridge and walk and cross the Thames again just after London bridge to see St Paul's, the West end, Covent Garden, Neals Yard and Westminster with Big Ben, the Wheel and the famous guards.
This is a good walk and will take you most of the day. Bus 15 at Charing Cross will take you back to just outside the hotel where you can relax before eating in one of the many restaurants. For Chinese try My Old Place about 5 minutes away, for Thai the restaurant next to the hotel or have one of the many other cuisines available.
If you arrive at Heathrow take the new Elizabeth line, and safe at least £18, on a quick transfer.

The prominent architectural landmark
#ldninsider
Beyond its architectural landmark status, St. Paul's Cathedral serves as the Anglican Episcopal see in London and thus has figured prominently in many major cultural and religious events, from the funerals of Lord Nelson and Winston Churchill to the marriage of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer.
Destroyed by the Great Fire of London in 1666, the current building was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and completed in 1710. Its iconic dome is 111 metres (364ft) high and is one of the largest cathedral domes in the world.
We booked online with an entry time in the late afternoon on a Monday and were able to enter with no queue. There was much more to see here than I recall from my first visit over 40 years ago. The audio guide was invaluable. It's an architectural triumph and quite impressive to see in person.

Majestic looking St. Paul’s Cathedral
During my recent trip to London UK, I was impressed by the majestic looking St Paul’s Cathedral. The Cathedral is one of the most impressive landmarks in London. It goes back in history and the original church on this site is founded in AD 604. Restoration works have been carried out to preserve this national treasure. St Paul Cathedral is popular among tourists. ⛪️
There is an admission fee to visit the Cathedral, the Dome Galleries and the Crypt.
Also, many restaurants and bars nearby for you to complete your day of sightseeing.
How to get there - Take the London Underground “Tube” and alight at St Paul’s station. Otherwise, you can take a bus.

During my summer vacation in London, I visited St. Paul’s Cathedral, and it was a truly awe-inspiring experience. Located in the heart of the city, the entrance fee was £23 for adults, which included access to the cathedral floor, crypt, and the iconic dome.
The architecture is breathtaking, from the soaring ceilings to the intricate mosaics. Climbing the 528 steps to the top of the dome was challenging, but the panoramic views of London were absolutely worth it. The Whispering Gallery inside the dome was fascinating too—a unique acoustic experience you shouldn't miss.
Nearby, you can explore the vibrant area around the cathedral, including the Millennium Bridge, which offers a scenic walk to the Tate Modern. St. Paul’s is a must-visit for anyone in London, combining history, architecture, and stunning views. ⛪️🌆

St Paul cathedral, in the heart of London is always magnificent and grand. It still holds worship messes in the morning 8am and 5pm where all believers are welcomed for free. At other times one has to pay a hefty entry fee. Take a nice walk around the cathedral. There is a beautiful park on the right side while a private school on the left. Remember, in the cathedral princess Diana married the prince of wales at that times.

Much better value for money than Westminster Abbey. Although busy never felt crowded . Was able to take as much time as needed to listen to Audio Guide which is excellent. No problem to take photos without including someone's head or back! The Crypt puts Westminster Abbey Poets Corner to shame. The Dome and art work are amazing with lots of seating to admire it from.

【London Attractions】St. Paul's Cathedral, Harrods Department Store, Borough Market, Chinatown!
London is the capital of the United Kingdom, and there are countless attractions to visit, including St. Paul's Cathedral, Borough Market, Chinatown, Harrods Department Store, and more!
On this day trip, I first went to St. Paul's Cathedral (St Paul's Cathedral), which is known for its Baroque architectural style and famous dome, and is a must-see attraction! In a mall called One New Change, there's a mirror where you can take stunning photos of St. Paul's Cathedral! The reflection of the mirror spectacularly showcases this building!
In addition, I went to Borough Market, where a variety of international foods are sold, making it a London food market not to be missed! Near this market, I dined at 'Eat Tokyo' and ordered salmon avocado rolls, seven kinds of fish sushi, and some bento boxes! The taste was very delicious and fresh! The price was £50 for two people! In a place with high living costs like London, this price is already quite good!
Afterward, I went to Chinatown, which is filled with the atmosphere of Chinese culture, with many lanterns hanging high in the sky, making it feel like I was back in my hometown, very special!
Finally, I visited a very famous department store (Harrods), which houses a large number of brands and is a very upscale department store! Highly recommend taking a look! The exterior of the building is dark brown and has the word 'Harrods' on it, making it very easy for tourists to recognize!
In conclusion, this one-day trip to London was very satisfying, and I suggest everyone consider visiting these attractions when in London!
