The church was built in 1932 and completed in 1934. The tower is 56 meters high and is the tallest building in Shandong Province before the founding of the People's Republic of China. The church decoration is in the form of the Italian Renaissance. The hall is 18 meters high, spacious and bright, with seven large chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and an altarpiece at the rear, with a dome-like mural painting, which is solemn and beautiful. As the May Day holiday draws to a close, I've arrived at my last stop: Qingdao. Although Qingdao has always been a super popular coastal tourist city, perhaps because it's the end of the May Day holiday, the crowds in Qingdao feel quite manageable. Route & Transportation: It takes about 1 hour from Rizhao West to Qingdao Station. Qingdao has many train stations, including Qingdao Station, which is in the city center and very close to the attractions. Qingdao North Station, Qingdao Airport Station, and Hongdao Station all have subway access. Qingdao West Station does not have subway access and is far from the city center, but it is in the Huangdao District, not too far from Golden Beach. If you're arriving in Qingdao, I recommend choosing Qingdao Station, as it's very convenient, and you can take classic photos of the Qingdao Railway Station right outside the station. Transportation in Qingdao is very convenient. Almost all the attractions you want to visit can be reached by subway, and there are many bus routes in the city. Here, you only need a pair of comfortable sneakers to slowly stroll through the entire city. Key point: Qingdao is not as flat as most northern cities. In the old city, you still have to climb some slopes and hills. Attractions: Golden Beach is in Huangdao District; Badaguan Scenic Area, St. Michael's Cathedral, Governor's Mansion... are in the old city; Laoshan Mountain is in Laoshan District... Fortunately, the subway is very convenient, so transportation to the attractions is not a big problem.
