It is considered the oldest in London, as it was used by Henry VIII as a hunting ground in the 16th century. The park has a river that most tourists mistake for a lake. Local residents are pelicans, calmly watching tourists, and squirrels, begging for or stealing food. St. James Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and its 57 acres. There are many memorials, fountains and statues to discover at the park. One of the most recognisable is the Queen Victoria Memorial. this is one of my favourite parks in london! there are lots of green spaces in this big city, and this park offers amazing view of Buckingham Palace and the london eye at the same time. while I was enjoying the view of the city, I also enjoyed walking around the park in this golden hours. there are lots of places where I was able to take pictures. there is a huge park, and there are some shops where you can get fresh drinks and ice-cream. even this park is in such a central location, it’s still relatively quiet and calmer than Hyde park and other big parks in london! there are also lots of wildlife in this park, swans, ducks, squirrels and parrots. You can see the iconic Buckingham Palace inside the garden as well as other iconic landmarks such as the London eye.
