Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall
#Travel to save the world
Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is located in Srinakarin Dam National Park, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi Province. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. With 7 levels of limestone waterfalls flowing down amidst abundant nature, you can visit all year round, but the best time is from October to April when the water is clear and the air is cool.
Highlights of each level of the waterfall
Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall has 7 levels in total. Each level has its own name and characteristics, as follows:
1. Dong Wan: Small level, deep water, peaceful, suitable for quiet relaxation
2. Man Khamin: Small waterfall, not deep, comfortable for swimming
3. Wang Pha Pha: High waterfall, suitable for taking pictures
4. Chat Kaew: The highlight of the waterfall is a beautiful limestone waterfall
5. Lai Jon Long: Waterfall flows down a sinkhole, strangely beautiful
6. Dong Phisuea: Wide area, many places to swim, and there are many butterflies during March-May
7. Rom Klao: Highest level, suitable for swimming, not deep
Facilities
The park has bungalows and camping areas with a welfare restaurant. Tourists can book bungalows online via the park’s website. Tent camping areas are available on the 1st and 4th floors. The 1st floor is near the waterfall, providing a quiet atmosphere. The 4th floor has beautiful mountain views and offers a clear view of the sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend it.
