Week in Naples~ walking in SpaccaNapoli
Getting There - I often go to Naples and this time happened to be the time Naples won the third scudetto. Reaching Naples it is easy, you can get here by train, airplane or by driving. The airport is only 30 minutes away from SpaccaNapoli and the train station only 20 mins walking distance.
Attractions - One of the most famous places to go while her in SpaccaNapoli it is Pizza Plebiscito, Margellina, Pompei, an excursion to the Vesuvio, Via Toledo, and Spanish steps.
Hotels - Airbnb or B&B near to the center or well located ( avoid train station)- some of the best places I have ever been are in the center of Naples such as Angioino B&B
Food & Restaurants - Trattoria Nanninella, Sfogliatelle D’alterio, Pizzeria Sorbillo, e Ragù da Tandem.
Shopping - Via Toledo is definitely the best place to shop followed by Corso Umberto.
Best time to go to SpaccaNapoli is in the morning or afternoon 10 am to 7pm :) avoid lunch time :)
By the way the city was decorated due to the Naples soccer team wining 2023 scudetto!

Naples is vibrant, chaotic, and utterly captivating. Spaccanapoli, the narrow street cutting through the historic center, is alive with energy, history, and authentic Italian culture. Don’t miss the stunning churches, like the Naples Cathedral, and indulge in the city’s famous pizza—it’s the best in the world! Naples is also the perfect base for exploring Pompeii, Vesuvius, and the Amalfi Coast.

[Southern Italy] Spaccanapoli District City Walk
Spaccanapoli is an area located in the old town of Naples where history and modern culture intersect.
With its narrow alleys running in all directions and a lively atmosphere, it is known as a place where you can feel the essence of Naples.
[Attractions]
◆Wall art
Spaccanapoli is the center of street art in Naples. Colorful graffiti and murals are painted on the walls and buildings, creating an art gallery-like atmosphere throughout the city. Artists are sending out strong messages through their works that include social issues and political messages. Another attraction of this area is that you can enjoy the original art while walking around the city.
◆Prices
Spaccanapoli is popular with both tourists and local residents, so prices are relatively reasonable. In particular, you can enjoy Neapolitan specialties such as pizza and pasta at reasonable prices. Pizza Margherita costs 3 to 5 euros, and an espresso at a cafe costs around 1 euro, so you can easily enjoy a meal at a local restaurant or bar (cafe).
◆Souvenir Shops
In this area, there are many souvenir shops selling Naples-specific crafts and traditional items. Particularly popular are handmade ceramic products, red horn amulets called "corno," leather products, and traditional Christmas ornaments. There are also shops selling local ingredients, seasonings, and wine, and many tourists purchase these as souvenirs.
Just walking around the fashionable streets is fun!
However, because there are so many people, the security situation is poor, so be careful of pickpockets!
Make sure to keep your bag closed and hold it in front of your body.
