Soo Kaffe not only has a very good coffee menu but also it is in this beautiful old building. The balcony offers such a lovely view. Their egg coffee was rich and delicious, a nice atmosphere that was great for working. It was cool that there were so many books available. The majority were in Vietnamese, despite being an English book originally. The toilets are located one storey down, only one cubicle without lights, but it’s okay in the morning. This is a beautiful aesthetic cafe hidden in the Ben Thanh area. There is no shortage of vintage or aesthetic or appealing cafe's in saigon. They also serve very convincing drinks for its in their culture and nothing foreign. But what works also in it's favour is that this cafe offers a refuge form the Ben Thanh madness. That is if you are able to locate it. Makes for a good afternoon spot. Started with an ice tea of theirs. Was perfect for the weather and then jumped on the bestseller that is egg coffee. Before talking about the design of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁, I just want to say if you are looking for a quiet place whether for the purpose of working, studying or a space separate from the noisy Saigon out there, then 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁 is one of the suitable options for you. Designed with rough brick walls surrounding it, and the interior is mostly made from wood, creating a cozy feeling as soon as you enter the shop. What's more impressive is the massive bookshelf that's almost touching the ceiling. This point reminds me of the Ban cafe in Le Loi branch, which also has a similar bookshelf. The second special feature is that the shop has 2 balconies, 1 front balcony facing Ben Thanh market street, and 1 quiet balcony at the back with more green trees. It will be quite interesting for you to find your way to the back balcony of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁, come and experience it 😁. 📋About 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁's menu is also quite diverse, including a full range of machine-brewed coffee, traditional Vietnamese coffee and even cold brew coffee. Besides, there are also milk teas, fruit teas and hot/cold flower teas. The shop also sells beer, suitable if you come here in the evening and don't want to drink coffee.
