🏝️It is an island that Songkhla people know well, but not many people have visited. The island is only 10 minutes from the shore. How could we miss it? If you have a chance, invite your friends to go. There are many boats available, with many prices. The one we used was 'Bangki'. 📞We called to book and set a date and time. Start by boarding the boat at Hua Phaya Nak at 9 am. 🕘 When we got close to the island, the boatman told us stories and history. We went in November. The tide was high, so we couldn't make it through the cave. We didn't do many activities, except for hiking up to see the view from above. The boatman led us up. The path wasn't too difficult, but be careful not to slip. There were ropes for us to hold onto at intervals along the way. The view from above was very beautiful. Seeing it made us feel less tired. In the middle, there is a pool for taking cool photos. The surrounding area is next to a canal, giving a shady feel. There are also water activities to do. There are staffs to take care of you all the time. The highlight here is the pool in the middle. There is a corner to sit and take photos like a rich kid. We recommend coming in the morning or evening, the light is very beautiful. We stayed in the Breeze Deluxe room, a medium-sized room. But the amenities are complete. Comes with a soul-sucking bed. In the past, an economy in "Songkhla City" was driven by many Chinese families, that's why there is a red rice mill building here. The name of the mill is “Hub Ho Hin” which is a Hokkien language, meaning unity, harmony, and prosperity. During World War II, Japan occupied Songkhla and used this red mill as a warehouse for medical supplies. After the war, the rice mill business was discontinued and converted to a warehouse to store rubber for export, and fishing port. 📍Suan Toon Waterfall: Songkhla City 💦 Few people know about this waterfall. It just so happens that Gammy has a local guide who came to visit. This entrance is past the Songkhla Zoo. Drive straight in. It's a bit confusing and you might get lost in the alley because there are no signs. 🌿 This is a small dam and there is a pool that flows through the waterfall. You can come and play in the water because it is not very deep. On top, there is an old church surrounded by trees. It looks quite old. 🌿 It is considered a secret and unseen corner. The flower are beautiful and these alot of spot to take a picture. The entrance fee is 50 bath per person with can redeem one free drink. Not a big farm but nice for photography place. The staf are nice and alway smiling. The operation time is daily from 9.00 until 1800. The landscape also nice for taking pictures with flowers.
