It comes and goes quite often so you would not have to wait long for a ferry, plus there are two places where you can board, this shortening the waiting time by a huge margin. Just go to the small ticketing booth, purchase your ticket(we paid cash) and drive on to the waiting line. When boarding, just follow the instructions of the staff.
