Hotel Marina Bay Sokcho opened in 2020! It boasts the best location because it is close to Seoraksan Mountain, Jungang Market, and Sokcho Marine Station. It has not been open long, so the room condition is good, but the soundproofing is a bit disappointing. 🥶 Since it is near Cheongcho Lake, if you go up to the rooftop, you can see Seoraksan Mountain, Cheongcho Lake, and Sokcho Sea all at once. Excellent stay at Marina Bay Sokcho. For a very reasonable room rate, you get a fairly spacious room that is more like a service apartment complete with its own washing machine and build in drying rack! Room was clean with a nice bed, plenty of pillows and a warm blanket. Plus, all the Netflix you can watch on the TV!! Well located at the Bay area with access to good restaurants and cafes, EMart, Daiso and Olive Young are within 10 min walk. Highly recommended if you want to use Sokcho as a base to visit Seoraksan, which is about 2.5 hrs via express bus from Seoul! #freehotelstay #sokcho #seoraksan #marinabaysokcho
