Okinawa soba "Sobe"
If you want to eat Okinawa soba in Okinawa, this is the place to go.
"Sobe"
First of all, it's in Naha city, so you can get there right after arriving at Naha Airport.
It's difficult to get there by train, so I recommend coming by car.
There is a parking attendant, so you will be guided to an empty parking lot.
Even though it's a restaurant in a residential area, the fact that there is an attendant means that it's crowded.
I've been there twice, and when I visited during Golden Week in May, I waited just under an hour, and during the long weekend in October, I waited nearly 30 minutes. This is despite the fact that it's difficult to visit by train.
Please make sure you have plenty of time.
When your number is called,
you will be guided to a typical Okinawan restaurant.
That's the first good thing. I always go there as soon as I arrive in Okinawa, so I get the Okinawan vibe all at once.
I feel like Okinawa has developed recently and there are fewer restaurants like this. So I think you'll feel like you've come.
By the way, there are no counter seats, only tatami rooms and table seats, and you order at your seat and pay at the exit. You can eat at your leisure.
After ordering, it doesn't take long.
You can eat Okinawa soba by itself, but
I personally recommend the set meal.
You can make a set meal for an additional 400 yen (at the time of publication).
The set includes juicy (cooked rice), vinegared mozuku seaweed, and a small side dish.
The reason I recommend it is because you can eat Okinawan dishes other than soba and it's cheap.
I didn't mention the taste of the soba, but
Depending on the place, Okinawa soba can be a little light, so people from the Kanto region who like strong flavors may not be satisfied, but this restaurant does not have that feeling.
It's very delicious.
The pickled ginger is also self-added on the table, so when I went, everyone put in too much, and the soup turned pink, so be careful not to put in too much. lol
It's so delicious that I think it's a restaurant you should visit first when you come to Okinawa.
Enjoy it.
