But, you'll be freezing if you're there more than 3 hours. So, my suggestion. Bought that ticket early, you can go in the day to see every sculpture. Then, can go have dinner and rest first. So, Volga Manor is the place that represent few building that is build like a Russian Building. A piece of advice; if come here, take the bus. Don't walk around here. You might get tired. Its sooooo big area if you wanna walk. End up, you won't finish visit every part because you'll be freezing again because there are so windy. Snow Valley, a quiet snow village with beautiful views and a must-see on the top of the mountain. Activities include driving a snow mobile, playing with a banana snow tube slide, and skiing. There are also many places to take pictures. White snow on the trees contrasts with the blue sky. In the midst of sub-zero temperatures, the snow is fluffy and soft, and the weather is not too cold, making us spend our time happily. I highly recommend it.

Is Xuexiang expensive? Too expensive! Goodness, the room prices during the Spring Festival are two or three thousand. But you can stay in Xuegu, which is much cheaper. I found that crossing from Xuegu to Xuexiang, the scenery along the way is super beautiful, much more fun than looking at the shops in Xuexiang. Xuegu and Xuexiang are on two sides of the mountain, Xuegu is on the shady side, but the snow quality here is also very good, suitable for snowball fights and pushing people into the snow. I took an aerial photo in the morning, and the scenery of Xuegu is also very beautiful. There are two ways to go from Xuegu to Xuexiang, one is pure hiking, climbing over Yangcao Mountain for more than 10 kilometers is still quite tiring; the other is to take a horse-drawn sled (100/person), go to the middle point, walk a section of the road, then take a snowmobile (300/person), and then buy a ticket to Xuexiang (130/person), then take a car down or snow drift down (sit on a plastic snow drift mat and slide down). The road is very beautiful, you can see the authentic snow forest, vast snow. If you go into the woods to take pictures, be careful, because many times the snow is waist-deep, once you go in, you will fall in, try to walk slowly. It's best to wear snow gaiters on your legs. The scenery at the top of the mountain is also very good, suitable for taking pictures, I saw a guy digging a snow pit higher than himself. It is necessary to say something about taking a snow drift, at first the speed is very fast, if both heels are on the ground, the snow will spray on the face, you can't see anything, and finally, you will fall. In the middle of the gentle slope, the speed is not up, just take the snow drift mat and walk to the steep slope to slide. The main road of Xuexiang is not interesting, they are all shops, you can go to the state-run restaurant to eat buffet. Just down the mountain to the edge of Xuexiang, you will see a place where sled dogs are concentrated, the dogs are more beautiful than the other. In addition, taking pictures of Xuexiang from the boardwalk will have a good effect. However, the accommodation conditions here are very average, just make do, try not to listen to the two-person show at dinner, it is really too awkward...

📍 Itinerary Overview 🚩 Sightseeing Route 26 Dec-I started my trip from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah to Beijing and stayed there for 2 nights to visit Great wall of china and Temple of heaven, as well walk around Hutong street. 29 Dec- I took a flight to Harbin for 2 hours( save time compared to taking fast train 5 hours). Upon reaching Harbin, I straight away took the bus to Snow Valley. The bus (cost Y100/pax) a 40 seaters bus shared with other guests going to Snow Valley. The homestay owner booked the bus for me. I stayed at Xuegu Nannan Snow Valley. I took the bus at 1pm at the location provided by the homestay owner. Its was quite a rough journey as the road is bumpy going to the small village. Journey took 5 hours and we have a toilet stop at a small gloceries shop.I arrived at the homestay at 6pm and welcomed by the homestay family. I went to the center village where they have firebon and stage where some local are singing and you can join the dance. They also have fireworks show. 30 Dec-We planned to go to Rime Ridge/Wu Song Ling but due to my Alipay(TNG) got problem i cant scan the QR code to make payment and i didn’t bring much cash because I didn’t expect my phone line will have problem. So went walk around the village and strolled along the river. It was so lovely listening to the river flow and enjoying the beautiful mountainous view covered with snow. And i was able to do my ‘snow angel’ as the snow was so thick👼 I also took the horse sleight to the mountain just behind the village that cost me Y200/pax. The journey is around 30 minutes. Its was a national forest reserve so you have to pay Y40/pax for entrance fee. The sleight ride was a great experience and the view in the forest is magical!!! 31 Dec- I took the the 40 seater bus again to go back to harbin town at 9am and arrived harbin city 2.30pm. I really enjoyed my stay at snow valley and i can’t say how much greatful i am for the hospitality provided by the homestay owner due to my alipay problem. She provided me lunch and dinner for free because she was worried i can’t order food due to limited cash. She was so KIND..and im blessed🙏🏼 Upon arriving at the city, i went to find my hotel Huayi Oriental Hotel (Harbin Central Street Subway Station Harbin Station). It’s quiet a walking distance from the Zhongyang metro but walkable if you dont have big luggage, otherwise its better to take taxi/didi car. 🚄 Harbin Station - Yabuli West Station 7:23-8:49 📍 We booked a car, and our first stop was Datudingzi Mountain (about 1.5 hours by car). The snow was not thick enough that day, so we took the Snow Dragon up the mountain. The staff said that snowmobiles would be available later. It was really cold on the mountain! Keep warm! (You can bring your own instant noodles, and there is a small shop on the mountain where you can get hot water and food.) 📍 The second stop was the Snow Gallery. We first played two games (snow spinning and snow dragon, which were not very fun), but the scenery here was so beautiful! You must come! A 7 day 6 night trip by yourself is not as difficult as you think. It's fun and very cold. It's coldest on your hands and face. We spent 1 night at Snow Valley and stopped at Snow Town. We took the bus from Harbin city at 7 a.m. and arrived at Snow Town at 2 p.m. We walked around, ate, and took photos in both light, day and night. We made it in time.
