Shinbalwon 5 minutes walk from Busan Station First, I came here on the recommendation of a friend who had been to Busan!! It's near Chinatown! I tried the meat dumplings, Mala dumplings, and the meat was delicious, but the Mala dumplings that I had tried for the first time were really delicious. The aroma was really Mala!! #ThailandFlightEvent Honestly, only the Gunmandu is delicious at Shinbalwon Mandu. But the Gunmandu is really worth waiting for. The outside is crispy and the inside is moist and just my taste. The Mala Bibim Noodles are also very Mala flavored, so if you like Mala Tang, I highly recommend them. The White Shrimp Mandu has minced shrimp in it, so it doesn't really taste like shrimp, so I don't recommend it.

Walk past the gates of Busan's infamous Chinatown and across the Chinese Elementary School, you'll find the legendary institution that is Sinbal Won, meaning the "store that always prospers". This small, 4-table eatery has been serving authentic Chinese dumplings 🥟, hot soy milk🥛, as well as baked goods 🍞 for 4 generations 👨👩👧👦 and has survived the Korean War. The dumplings are Chinese-style and distinct from Korean dumplings, but the 70-year-old family recipe is so unique that I can't describe the flavor. The steamed dumpling is similar to a xiaolongbao, and the fried dumplings are crispy on the outside while bursting with pork and spring onions on the inside 🐷🧅. Like its name, business has been very good in recent years due to bloggers, so the store expanded next door, and the menu has also gotten bigger, but waiting outside is almost a guarantee. Instead of waiting, my advice is to do takeout- especially if you are taking the train and enjoy the dumpling on the train like I do 😋.
