Favourite Pastries Café in Penang 🇲🇾

📍Sin Seh Kai Artisan Bakery, Penang
Our favourite pastries café in George Town of Penang island would be Sin Seh Kai Artisan Bakery. This café is strategically located in the heart of town area, with ample of designated parking lots. The café is cozy and chill, with chatters and laughters of hungry patrons. It’s got both indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seatings. The pastries are freshly baked and nicely arranged in the transparent shelves, which is really attractive and tempting! From sourdough to buns to egg tarts, it’s got it all. Besides, they also serve hot food like handmade noodles, luncheon meat. Food was served pretty quickly and was pretty delicious!

Visited this café for a couple of times while in George Town and it is as good as always! They specialise in artisanal pastries from sourdoughs to croissants. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings, quite spacious! We prefer outdoor seatings in the mornings as it is airy and not too hot and humid! There is always a crowd when we visit but the food was served quickly and the line was quick as well. Food was great, we love the almond croissants! The croissant was freshly baked, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside! Some of the stuff that we like includes the homemade egg noodles with homemade luncheon meat! They serve pretty good coffee too! Would definitely revisit!

Bakery Cafe in Georgetown 🥐
#myfoodies
This bakery cafe quaintly tucked in the busy food court of New World Park offers an array of good breakfast selection with coffee, or the local kopi.
I arrived at around 9.30am and the cafe was packed! The size of the cafe is fairly small but can seat about 20 people indoors, and they do have outdoor seats that can cater to larger groups.
The baked goods were all freshly baked and boy they were good! Croissant was flaky and fluffy, coffee was decent as well! The big breakfast comes in a rather large portion and the sausages and meat were a good compliment to the bread. I also bought a sourdough loaf and it was really good!
The selection for baked goods are a plenty and reasonably priced so do drop by and check it out if you are in town!
