Kyoto in early summer is sunny I decided to visit this historic shrine. Shimogamo Shrine is located at the confluence of the Kamogawa River and the Konogawa River in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. This place is pretty unique for its horses. We missed a horse show when we came here, but they have horse shows on a specific day of the month. I forgot what day it is, so you will have to check it out. Besides that, they sell fortunes in small clay shaped horses. It's a nice place to visit, I wish we came when there were horses though. #GiveThanks

There are many shrines in Kyoto. After visiting many of them, the following five left the deepest impression on me. Each one is very unique.
