🚩 Sheraton Qingdao West Coast Hotel -- It's considered a five-star hotel, with double rooms at 600+ RMB/night. The hotel is close to the beach (about a ten-minute walk), and the lobby is on the second floor. There's a nice-looking coffee bar next to the reception desk on the second floor. Breakfast is served next to the coffee bar. -- There's a decent variety, but the taste is average. The wontons were pretty good, though. About the room: -- For a 600+ RMB double room, the value is so-so. -- The room isn't big. You can see the ocean, but the view is limited, and the windows aren't very clean. -- The large showerhead is quite nice, but the toilet flush is just okay. The air conditioner is quite loud when it's running, so I had to turn it off to sleep. -- A sewing kit wasn't provided directly, but they sent someone up with one after I called the front desk (surprisingly, there don't seem to be any robot helpers. A staff member brought it up. The front desk did call ahead to let me know they were at the door, which was good from a security standpoint). About the service: -- The front desk wasn't very attentive during check-in. They opened the wrong room and then had to spend time correcting it. -- The room key didn't work, and they had to re-magnetize it. They didn't apologize. They also didn't offer any assistance when I approached the front desk. -- When I arrived, no one offered to take my luggage or bring it up to my room, which is different from other five-star hotels I've stayed at.

This is my first time to Qingdao West Coast. I heard that many people now choose to vacation on the West Coast. Although it is not the peak season now, I can still feel the atmosphere here. You can consider taking the subway from downtown Qingdao. Whether from Qingdao North Station or Qingdao Station, you can take Line 1 directly to the West Coast. There are indeed many high-end hotels along the coast, and it should be lively during the peak season. The Sheraton is relatively close to the northeast, but it takes about 1 hour to get here from Qingdao Station by subway. This hotel is really big, with the lobby and restaurant on the 2nd floor, and the gym and swimming pool on the 1st floor. The swimming pool environment is also good. The breakfast buffet is in the restaurant on the first floor, and the space is large, so it should be easy to accommodate groups and peak season vacations. I stayed in a suite, which was very spacious and comfortable, with good soundproofing. The bathroom is divided into wet and dry areas, with a shower and bathtub, and two sinks. The space is very spacious. There is also a reception area and a guest bathroom. The suite is very nice. All the staff I met were very professional and friendly. Qingdao Huangdao is a nice place to stay or having a vacation, beautiful views and sea side, plenty of fresh sea foods snd people are friendly...

I also went to the Hwangdo Wanda Amusement Park and booked the Sheraton Hotel as a nearby hotel. Although the lounge service was included, it was cheap, and the lounge and room view were nice. However, the food in the lounge was poor, but the dinner for one person was provided, and the quality of breakfast and dinner was also good. I went without any expectations, but I had so much fun. For reference, the swimming pool is small and the facilities are not that great.
