I want to clear the name of Maldivian cuisine, it's really delicious
After a day of playing in Male, we officially started our vacation mode by landing on the island!～
Our first stop was the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa
An old five-star hotel located in the North Male Atoll of the Maldives, just a 20-minute speedboat ride to the island. It was one of the first hotels in the Maldives to open to Chinese tourists. The island has natural vegetation, and with the sea breeze blowing, walking on the road is really very pleasant.
🆘 We stayed for a total of 3 nights in a Water Bungalow with Pool
We tried almost all the restaurants on the island!～
Fortunately, we didn't bring instant noodles, the food on the island was simply not enough to eat
Who needs 🍜!～
There are a total of 7 restaurants on the island, except for Kakuni Hut, a Mexican restaurant located next to the beach house, the other restaurants are relatively concentrated. Highly recommended are Sea Salt (seafood-themed restaurant) and Baan Thai (Thai restaurant)❗️
1⃣️ My top-ranked restaurant is Sea Salt

The restaurant is set by the sea, and while dining, baby sharks swim back and forth next to the fence, and herons also perch next to the restaurant, it's really amazing!～
What surprised me the most was that they even considered the lighting issue, the menu actually glows (at the end)!～ As a country bumpkin, I was really touched when I saw it for the first time 😊
🌟 Highly recommended dish: Seafood platter, the menu indicates it's suitable for 2 people (lobster + grouper + crab + squid + shrimp), but the portion is definitely enough for four people👌 (At first, I thought it wouldn't be enough for 2 people, but the portion was super sufficient, we ordered too quickly and couldn't finish it 😂), the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was very good, very suitable for Chinese taste. The vegetables and pasta we ordered were also very delicious, we were completely stuffed after the meal.
2⃣️ My second-ranked restaurant is Baan Thai

Managed by a Thai female chef, the flavors are authentic and more exquisite and delicious than the Thai food I had before. Especially the mango sticky rice, it even had gold leaf!～
PS: The pre-meal snacks also had gold leaf!～ It was really unexpected.
🌟 The first feeling after the meal was that everything that used coconut milk was richer than what I had before, which is very friendly for dessert lovers!～
3⃣️ My third-ranked restaurant is Anchorage Bar
Located in the open area next to the pool, it mainly serves Mediterranean cuisine. That squid dish (forgive me for forgetting the name, if you have the chance to go, just show the picture), chickpeas + olive oil dip, it was super delicious 😋

My stay at the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa was pure paradise! From the moment I arrived, I was treated to exceptional service and hospitality. The villa was stunning, with breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoon and powdery white sand beach. I had my best trip of 2023 here at Sheraton Fullmoon Maldives. The place is not far from the mainland and you can travel there fast by the complimentary speed boat from the hotel. The most amazing thing happened when upgraded me to the water villa. I felt like I actually reached Maldives. Truely incredible and unforgettable.##maldives
