Overall, the experience is quite good, with the location right in the city center. The lobby is as grand as ever, which is nice, and going upstairs to take photos is very photogenic. The executive lounge is just a small room on the first floor, which seems a bit makeshift, but it looks fine combined with the lobby bar. Had a coffee and sat for a while. It faces the backyard garden, which is decent, and it's nice to sit in the garden in the summer. The hotel has been around for a while, I checked and it turns out it opened in 1988, so it has a long history! However, it was renovated in 2021, so the decor is okay, not feeling too outdated. But hotels from the 90s have a common problem: the floor height is very low, and the rooms are not very big. Staying for a day or two should be fine, but it might feel oppressive if staying longer.. The breakfast area is nice, and the breakfast itself is superb, those who have booked breakfast should definitely not miss it. The gym and swimming pool are just average, quite small. But there is a family fun room.

This is my first time staying at the Sheraton Guilin, after all, it's the only five-star hotel in the Marriott group in Guilin, and there's another Four Points by Sheraton on the outskirts in Lingui which is a bit off the beaten path. A heartfelt recommendation without any ads! This Sheraton in Guilin can be described as the yyds of Guilin hotels❗️ The service is top-notch, and they even offer free rental of ethnic Zhuang costumes, including ones for children!
