As the second Sheraton in Xiamen, it has been highly anticipated since the beginning of its preparation and finally opened this year after much excitement.

I have to say, the owner put a lot of thought into the decoration. As soon as you walk in, you are deeply attracted by its style, a blend of vintage Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm and modern vibes, giving a strong sense of being in Southeast Asia.
The wall decorations and ornaments are quite distinctive, such as the red bricks from traditional Minnan (Southern Fujian) houses and materials from the old days of going to Nanyang, all quite innovative. You can even learn the stories behind them from these small details.
Next to the hotel is a coffee shop plus a sky garden. The coffee shop is elegant and grand, thoughtfully divided into several areas like a meeting zone, a children's play area, and a co-working space, fully considering the diverse guests. This is rarely seen elsewhere and is a big plus.
The adjacent sky garden offers excellent views, directly facing the entire Xinglin Bay, with breathtaking scenery. Not only the sky garden but also the gym, swimming pool, and guest rooms all enjoy such beautiful views, making relaxation here truly pleasant.

The rooms are about 40+ square meters, large and spacious, fully equipped with all the necessary hardware, with no flaws to point out.
In the evening, I experienced the hotel's Shiguang Restaurant. The cold shredded green papaya appetizer was very refreshing, and the pan-seared salmon was tender and delicious, paired with cream cheese for a wonderfully unique combination.
The executive lounge is on the 28th floor, with a special charm of the Xinglin Bay night view outside the window. Happy hour offers various drinks and dishes. Although the selection is not extensive, it still meets most guests' needs. It's quite nice to come up here for a drink with friends in the evening.

The breakfast variety is rich, with all kinds of dishes available, and the taste is quite good. For example, the freshly cooked noodle stall offers six kinds of toppings, and you can add a bit of each, which is very friendly for those who have trouble choosing.
If you are considering staying in Jimei when traveling to Xiamen, Sheraton Jimei is a pretty good choice.
