Yangchan Tulou is located in Shendu Town, Shexian County, in the southern Anhui mountainous area. Yangchan is a small mountain village built on the mountains in the southern Anhui mountainous area. The Huizhou Yangchan Tulou building complex is another wonderful work of Huizhou architecture. It is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Huizhou mountain people. It is a peculiar mixture of backward productivity and high civilization. It is the palace of oriental earth building culture and art.

The early autumn of Xin'an River is truly breathtaking! The boat slowly moves through the mist, and people seem to be touring inside a painting. If you come to She County, you must visit the ancient town of Shendu. Just spend an extra hour and a half, and you can encounter the landscape gallery of Xin'an River. The Xin'an River, like a jade belt, surrounds the small town, with different scenery in all four seasons, really like a moving landscape painting. Because the water temperature of the upstream reservoir is higher, it forms a temperature difference with the cool air of early autumn mornings, so the river surface is misty, making people feel like they are in a world of fairy tales. There are shuttle buses from She County Station to Shendu Town, from 7 am to 5 pm, one every hour, and the ticket price is only 15 yuan. Before Shendu Town, the Xin'an River makes a turn here. It is very pleasant to enjoy the landscape and ancient villages on the shore. There is a street in the small town that looks quite old, and you can finish strolling in just ten minutes. If you want to tour the scenery on both sides of the hundred-mile gallery of Xin'an River, you have to take a boat. Here you can find fresh fish from Xin'an River, with tender meat, delicious whether steamed or braised. There are also local specialty pastries, sweet but not greasy, with a soft and glutinous texture. In addition to the landscape gallery of Xin'an River, there are also ancient villages around that you can visit to feel the charm of ancient Huizhou. Early autumn mornings are quite cool, so remember to bring a jacket. Pay attention to safety when touring by boat and follow the staff's arrangements.

The "most beautiful flower sea ancient trail in Huizhou"—Wenchang Ancient Trail, is located within the territory of She County, about 42 kilometers away from the ancient city of Huizhou. Centered around Wenshan Village in Chakou Town, it connects the three townships of Chakou, Wuyang, and Changxi in She County. The trail is 6 kilometers long and 1.8 meters wide, entirely paved with finely crafted bluestone slabs. The bluestone slabs laid along the road are well-preserved, winding and quiet, with an ancient charm. Our group of 50 people took a Wuling minivan from Shendu Town through Wuyang Township (the road is narrow, and it is very difficult for buses to pass each other, so it is possible to drive yourself) and got off at the third intersection (the first two are also possible, but a bit far) to start climbing the mountain to Wenshan Village. The intensity is moderate, and then we walked along the mountain ridge, with beautiful scenery along the way. Finally, at 10:30, we retreated to the Datan natural village, and it is also feasible to walk to Changxi ancient village in an hour. The leader arranged for the minivan to pick us up, and we arrived back at Shendu Town's farmhouse for rest, food, and to return home at nearly 11 o'clock. Spring has arrived, and the rapeseed flowers in Huizhou are in full bloom, attracting countless tourists and photographers. In recent years, an ancient trail in She County has become very famous, known as the "most beautiful flower sea ancient trail in Huizhou". In spring, the sea of rapeseed flowers on both sides of the ancient trail is like a golden carpet that covers the sky and the earth, flooding the hills and the ancient trail, making it worth your while to relax and enjoy the greenery.

This is my third visit to Shendu, coming all the way from the Anhui-Zhejiang Sky Road. The rapeseed flowers have started to wither and seed, so when I arrived at Shendu, I only saw sporadic rapeseed flowers. The ferry terminal was filled with cruise ships, which are the ones that go back and forth to Qiandao Lake on the same day. Unable to take pictures at the ferry terminal, I chose to stay at the Wufu Homestay across the bridge, which is perfectly located opposite the big island, and the view is quite nice even without going up to the viewing platform. After breakfast, I headed to Qiandao Lake via Longchuan. Across from Longchuan town, there is a small hill right at the bend of the river. The peach blossoms on the hill are in full bloom against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds, forming a picturesque scene, very pleasing to the eye. In the past, climbing the hill was free, but now there is an old woman from a homestay collecting a fee for climbing the hill. Sigh
