My new favourite brunch spot is Shelly House in Bang Rak, it’s a cute and cosy place with a very interesting menu. Its Mediterranean menu offers options like hummus, lamb, and Turkish eggs - the highlight being traditional bread baked fresh in their stone oven. I like how fresh the food is here and the kitchen at the back is open and viable, you can smell the food as it’s being cooked. I’ve been a few times now and the service is always friendly and reliable even for single diners. Today, the shop has expanded to a new branch in a familiar location with the opening of a new brand called Shelly House Bangkok, located in Sathorn Soi 2. The shop is decorated in bright colors, combining the use of natural materials, both sprinkling sand and stones at the entrance of the shop. Inside the shop, it emphasizes wooden furniture with light colors, including the addition of light blue sea blue, making the shop very beautifully decorated. The theme of the food in this shop is Modern Australian cuisine, serving many menus, but we chose to order the Basic menu, Scrambled Eggs with added Cured Salmon, served in a large plate, eating alone is a little too full, which is very delicious. It still maintains the standard of being a popular Brunch & Coffee shop very well. . Shelly House Bangkok is located in Sathorn Soi 2, opposite the old Toby's Sathorn. If you drive, you can park at the shop or if it is full, we recommend parking at The Cotton Sala Dang Hotel, the building opposite the shop.
