Dragon’s back & Big wave beach: View and Surf
Dragons Back is a popular hiking trail in Hong Kong that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the city skyline and the South China Sea. It's a relatively easy hike that takes you through lush greenery and offers a refreshing escape from the bustling city.
Big Wave Beach, also located in Hong Kong, is a beautiful sandy beach known for its big waves, making it a popular spot for surfers. It's a great place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the ocean breeze. The beach is surrounded by scenic hills and offers a picturesque setting for a day out.
Both Dragons Back and Big Wave Beach are wonderful destinations in Happy Valley, providing opportunities for outdoor activities and a chance to connect with nature. Whether you're up for a hike or looking to spend a day at the beach, these locations offer a refreshing escape from the urban environment.#surfing #trekking #hongkongtrip

A Pupular Pre-Nup Photos Location 🇭🇰

Shek-o was recommended to us by a a few photographers friends so from our hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui we rented an entire van with our pre nup crew to take us to this stunning little village in Honkong. Instead on going to Shek-O beach we came to this rocky part and our photographer really enjoyed taking some snaps here. The calm water and the rock formations just make the entire vibe of this place very atmospheric. If you are looking for a place to take wedding photos in Hongkong then this place is highly recommended. Just look at our photos, I mean the seaview is just stunning isn't it? Travel time is about 45 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui. Enjoy your shot wether you are a photographer or a couple.

Summer vibe in Hong Kong: Shek O beach and Village
Hang out at the Beach
The Shek O beach is quite spacious and allows you to chill out and listen to the rhythm of the ocean. Moreover, you can rent a beach umbrella and have your private zone. You can also buy picnic mats, snacks, and meals from nearby restaurants and tuck shops. Everything you’d need for a trip is available at any Shek O stores behind the beach, so explore and find what you need.
Explore Shek O Village
Shek O village is a beautiful area with houses, stores and a chill vibe. A stroll around the place makes you forget that this beach is merely an hour away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.
No matter where you live in Hong Kong, it is quite easy to get to this beach. You can Google the different ways to get there, but my favourite is below:
Take the MTR to Shau Kei Wan Station
Go to Exit A2, which is the Po Man Street Exit
Take a left and go into the minibus terminal located just next to Shau Kei Wan Exit A2
Take the Red Minibus to Shek O
Head on straight to the last stop at Shek O

Fast-paced Hong Kong also has a paradise untouched by the secular world.
Shek O
For most people, Hong Kong has always been a bustling urban center, but in fact, amidst the fast-paced city life, there is also a paradise untouched by worldly disturbances.
Shek O Village - Shek O is a small peninsula located at the southeast corner of Hong Kong Island, facing the vast Pacific Ocean. It is a quiet coastal village with beautiful and peaceful scenery.
Shek O, this name is not unfamiliar to Hong Kong people, and even more so to fans of Stephen Chow, because his famous movie "King of Comedy" was filmed in Shek O.
Shek O has colorful houses resembling those in Venice, as well as beaches with blue skies and turquoise waters like those in the Maldives. Walking slowly here or sitting quietly all day won't make you feel bored.
Part of the residents in Shek O village have lived here for generations, while the other part consists of foreigners who have moved here in recent years, attracted by the tranquil atmosphere that is completely different from the bustling city of Hong Kong.
The quiet and slow pace of life in Shek O village can definitely make you feel like you've traveled back to the 80s or 90s, wandering aimlessly in the village and feeling like you've entered a different world.

New year adventure: all the way from Dragon’s Back, Shek O Peak to Big Wave Bay and Beach
In the new year spirit, I did a hike and walk with friends through the dragon’s back trail and stop at Big Wave. It was an adventurous experiences to see breathtaking views and beautiful gems of Hong Kong along the way. The weather was drop to 9 Celsius degree in the morning when we started hike. However the sun shined brightly over the day made us warm walking down from the Shek O Peak to Big Wave.
If you wanted to do the same adventure, take bus number 9 from Shau Kei Wan bus terminus (opposite exit A2 of the MTR Shau Kei Wan station), get off at Dragon’s back and follow the trail.

Shek O Beach - Hong Kong
Shek O Beach is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in Hong Kong. The beach is full of good public facilities such as changing rooms, showers, public toilets, BBQ grills and tables, a life guard station, and shark nets.
Shek O Beach has one of the biggest public barbecue sites with 40 pits! There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants near the beach. There is also a small golf course and a paraglide lift.
Shek O Beach can be crowded on weekends so it’s better to go there on the week days. The beach is located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island and the best way to get there is to take the MTR to Shau Kei Wan station. At Exit A2, take the red minibus marked Shek O from the adjacent tunnel and get off at Shek O Beach.

Shek O is a popular area in southeast Hong Kong, with its blue sky and sea, white beach and unique hamlets. It was also the shooting location of The King of Comedy. It is not so hot here the morning, so you can walk left towards the island and take some photographs against the colored cottages. Here is my outfit recommendation: Single-colored skirt + sandals + straw hat + sunglasses. You can also get some quick meals around Shek O.

Every place has its own unique memory. Most people who come to Shek O may be for the "King of Comedy", and this time, I am more looking for a scene called "The Broad Sky" to commemorate Huang Jiaxuan. ! I didn't expect a most classic MV, I created it here, but I didn't expect that one of the most classic songs became a swan song!
Going to the end, except for the coastline, it seems to be a broken road, the fence is closed, and asked the uncle next to it, the Cantonese version of Mandarin, the general meaning is to let us turn over! At first doubt, but in order not to regret, in the case of trying the other two directions to determine that there is no other way, simply do it, turn over, and sure enough, there are still many people, picking up seafood, making wedding dresses, photography .
Later, I learned from a student who was playing photography. It was also because of the "mangosteen" that destroyed the legendary blue lover bridge. (Tucao is a place that has not been repaired for a year)
After taking a video, sitting on the reef where the family sat, watching the blue sky and blue sky in the distance, listening to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks, in my mind It's all look in the MV! The reef in the MV has hardly changed. The top of the head is the pavilion that opened, and the eagle that occasionally hovered in the air restored the scene! "The sky is wide and the sky can change." Every picture has a deep memory. "Forgive me for indulging my love for freedom in my life." It is more artistic to return to the shooting than to watch the MV!
After 26 years, Shi Ao is still so beautiful, can't help but sigh, the years have changed, things are not!
Clean up your mood, live up to this beauty, love life and everything around you, is the best interpretation of the lyrics. After all, living is wonderful! In the case of good weather, any place in Shi'ao is a scene that is easy to produce! What do you think?
In this way, we took pictures, blown the sea breeze, and the Hong Kong classmates next to it blew the cows and passed the hottest afternoon.
Milan Prince.
I missed the health center and can no longer miss this colorful alley. There are basically no trees in the streets and alleys of Hong Kong. It is impossible to eat under the scorching sun. We simply walk along the path and pass under the eaves of the villagers, but we have harvested this unexpected color! Everyone here has painted different colors for their houses, or purple or orange, or green or pink, colorful and very eye-catching. If you put it together, its a rainbow! And you look closely, each mailbox is a variety of shapes, full of cute little fresh! And people in this period of time are working on the beach, and it makes it extremely quiet, no one is disturbing, find the background, and pat the random concave shape! Super petty super beautiful!
If you want to ask me how to go, then two words: free! Because the village is not big, no matter how you go, you can finally walk to Shiao Village Road, stand on the uphill road, or find a car parked on the side of the road, you can take a Hong Kong-style street scene! The road here is not wide, and the ground is reminded by the slow drive that can be seen everywhere. Slow down and enjoy the scenery along the way. Sometimes, it is also a realm! The atmosphere of art, the quiet little fishing village, the photos taken every place here are so small and fresh! It's no wonder that compared with the bustling city, the slow-paced life is more like a paradise!
Milan Prince.
Hong Kong is not to be missed. Shek O
beautiful scenery of Shek O is a fishing village in the southeast of Hong Kong. In recent years, it has become another must-see for Hong Kong. I divided Shi'ao into three places: Shi'ao Residential Area, Shek O Luxury Quarter and Shek O Beach. The Shi'ao residential area is the most popular place for tourists. The houses and streets are colorful and clean, and the taste of Hong Kong is full. It is a must-see for young artists. The Shi Ao Mansion is a separate building with heavily guarded, high-walled iron gates, but you can take a look at their luxury cars. Shek O Beach is my favorite place in Shek O. It can be used to embrace fine sand, sea and blue sky. If you can, I really want to stay here for a whole day.
Transportation: MTR Tsuen Wan Station A3 Exit Bus Terminus Take Bus No. 9 to Shek O Terminus (HK6.9)

The net red card is located in Shek O, Hong Kong. It is located in the eastern part of Hong Kong's southern district. It is also called Shikong. The area of Shi'ao is very large, the scenery is beautiful, the scenery is pleasant, the environment feels healthy, and the sand of the beach is delicate. There is also a Longji Mountain Road. There is no bustling city, but there is a quiet village. There are no high-rise buildings, and village villas can be seen everywhere. The water at Shek O Beach is very clean and there are many people swimming, as well as surfing and diving. Very popular. The transportation is convenient to the subway, the bus can reach the Central Exchange Square Bus Terminal and take the 309 bus to go directly to Shi'ao.
As a dry duck that can't swim, this time is to wear a swimsuit and have a look!
The beach sees a lot of good-looking young ladies! Nothing is wrong~

Hong Kong handsome guys gathering place
alternative Raiders! Hong Kong is the most prosperous place in the world, and Shek O Village is the most beautiful place I think of Hong Kong. Not only is the natural scenery beautiful, but there are also a lot of small fresh meat to bathe in the sun.
took the initiative to pick up a little brother who is lying on the beach. This little brother is a male model in Hong Kong. He usually likes to go to the bath with friends and colleagues. They are more open, and they are basically "out of view". The abdominal muscles are unobstructed and really handsome! If you like your little brother, you must go to Shi'ao Village. ~
Traffic Raiders: Take the Hong Kong Island Line and get off at Tsuen Wan Station (A3 exit). You can see 9 roads after you reach the ground. Bus, take the No. 9 bus to the terminal and get off at Shi'ao Village.

Hong Kong. It is a highly prosperous international metropolis. Hong Kong and New York and London are also called "Newport Harbor". It is the third largest financial center in the world.
Hong Kong Street View is an important scene in Hong Kong drama. This set of photos was randomly shot in Hong Kong, and the photos were processed into dark tones to pay tribute to the Hong Kong drama. Some friends feel good, some don't look good, how to deal with it, choose a good filter through software, reduce the saturation, reduce the exposure.
Hong Kong's streetscape, brightly colored, is very suitable for shooting a group of portraits on the street. However, it should be noted that the choice of non-Tsim Sha Tsui is very large and it is not easy to form a piece.

With the break of dawn, we embarked on a journey to uncover the mystical charm of Shek O. The morning breeze guided us along forested trails, where bird songs serenaded our steps and the crisp air embraced us like a long-lost friend. At the mountain's peak, a panorama of rolling hills unfolded before us, a tapestry of nature's finest strokes.
As the sun arched its way across the sky, we#香港好去處#親子好去處 traversed winding roads that hugged the rugged coastline. The sea's salty whispers mingled with the wind, painting a portrait of serenity in our souls. Evening descended like a soft sigh, leading us to the sandy shores. There, the golden sun cast its warm embrace upon the shimmering waves, a masterpiece in the making. Laughter of children playing on the beach harmonized with the calls of seagulls, a symphony of freedom and joy.
In the dusky hours, we retreated to our vehicle, meandering along the coastal road, chasing the setting sun's final glow. Our hearts overflowed with gratitude for the land that had shared its beauty with us so generously. Shek O's forests, sunsets, and seaside roads wove a tale of nature's grandeur and mystery, a day etched in our memories as a masterpiece of exploration and wonder.

You, my friend from Hong Kong, have hidden the treasure of Shek O so well
🍃In recent years, I have visited Hong Kong many times, and each time I make a point to choose a less-known destination to explore. I have strolled through Stanley, Cheung Chau, and Sai Kung, and this time, I set foot on the land of Shek O.
Perhaps, when Shek O is mentioned, many people might feel unfamiliar. But if I tell you that this was the filming location of 'King of Comedy,' would you feel much closer to it?
🚌Transportation Tips
Take the Island Line to Shau Kei Wan Station (affectionately known as 'Roast Chicken Bay'), exit from Exit A, and walk a few steps to catch Citybus No. 9. When you reach the final stop at Shek O, remember to choose a seat on the right-hand side of the upper deck of the bus, where the sunlight is softer and you can enjoy the charming sea view. Oh, by the way, the bus fare is about 8.7 HKD.
📷Photo Spots Recommendations
1️⃣Don't miss the prominent lifeguard tower on Shek O Beach, it's an excellent photo background!
2️⃣Tin Hau Temple is also a rare photography spot, full of ancient charm and flavor.
Here are some practical tips for you:
👉On Shek O Beach, you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Many enthusiastic aunties will come up to ask if you need these services. Remember to negotiate the price with them, usually, the rent for one umbrella and two chairs is 150 HKD.
👉If you plan to swim in the sea, remember to bring essential items like beach shorts, slippers, shower gel, and towels. After swimming, you can rinse off in the nearby facilities, refreshing and comfortable.

Shek O, Hong Kong: The most beautiful ecological fishing village on Hong Kong Island, well worth a deep visit!
Hong Kong is the most developed island city within our country, and together with Shanghai, it serves as a window city for China's international outreach. In the general public's perception, Hong Kong is synonymous with skyscrapers or high cost of living and consumption, but this is not the case. At the southernmost tip of Hong Kong Island, there is a lesser-known village called Shek O, with beautiful scenery and low consumption, making it very suitable for in-depth travel. Now, let me share some practical information about visiting Shek O Village!
1. Transportation information: Public transportation in Hong Kong is very convenient. You can reach any place you want to go by taking the subway or bus. Although Shek O is far from the city, there is a direct bus from the city area. Take the subway or bus to Shau Kei Wan Bus Terminus, then transfer to Citybus route 9 or New World First Bus route 9. Take New World First Bus route X9 from Central Pier to Shek O Bus Terminus.
2. Ticket information: Shek O Village is a public open village, and the beach and hiking parks are open to the public for free.
3. Accommodation issues: The Shek O area is not commercialized, so there are no accommodations to choose from. It is recommended to stay in the North Point area of Hong Kong for convenient travel back and forth.
4. Dining issues: In Shek O, there are simple meal-type restaurants operated by villagers, with an average consumption of about 120 Hong Kong dollars per person. It is recommended that dining in groups will be more cost-effective.
5. Duration of visit: The scenery in Shek O is very nice, and the beaches are of high quality, suitable for in-depth travel. It is recommended to visit for 1 day. The last bus back to Hong Kong city center from Shek O is at 1:30 am, so there is no need to worry about travel issues.

Experience a different Hong Kong at Shek O! Colorful town + fine sandy beach
📍Detailed address: Shek O, at the southern end of Hong Kong Island.
🚉Transportation guide:
Take the Island Line to Shau Kei Wan Station, exit A2, then take the double-decker bus number 9 directly to Shek O Station. It is recommended to sit on the upper level on the right side for a better view of the sea during the trip, which takes about 25 minutes and costs around 10 Hong Kong dollars. You can also choose to take a red minibus, which is faster, but the view and comfort are not as good as the bus. The minibus parking lot is right next to Shek O Beach.
⏳Route: Shek O Beach → Shek O Village
✅Must experience:
- Shek O Beach has public showers and changing rooms, so you can bring a swimsuit and go into the sea to play. The beach has fine sand and clear water.
- You can rent sun umbrellas and chairs at Shek O Beach, buy some food from nearby shops, and bring it over. The sun umbrellas provide shade and are very suitable for bringing children to play for a day.
- Shek O Village: There are many colorful houses in this colorful fishing village, which is the filming location of the movie 'King of Comedy'. If you walk up to the end of the village, you can also walk along the boardwalk to an island to see the reefs and waves, which is very pleasant.
📝Note tips:
- Remember to prepare an Octopus card and cash, as the local shops mainly accept only Octopus cards and cash.
- Shek O Health Centre is the classic filming location of the movie 🎬 'King of Comedy', but unfortunately, it is no longer allowed to take photos inside.

This summer, you should definitely take a trip to Shek O Beach with someone you like!
This is 📍 Shek O Beach in Hong Kong
The water is as clear as glass, and the sand is as clean as washed, making it perfect for holding hands with a loved one on a natural sunny day and making wishes to the sea breeze.
Today, I finally came, and the scenery of the beach is really beautiful. The sea is as clear as glass. Sitting under the tree, enjoying the sea breeze, listening to music, and daydreaming is very pleasant.
Travel Tips!
Take the subway towards the Island Line to Shau Kei Wan Station, then come out from Exit A1 of Shau Kei Wan Station, and right next to it, there is a direct minibus route 9
Tips:
1. The UV rays at the beach are strong, remember to apply sunscreen
2. It is recommended to go at around 2-3 PM to avoid the hottest time when the sun is directly overhead
3. It is suggested to wear 'simple' clothes for photos, as the houses on the beach are colorful, and wearing something too flashy might clash

She said she liked to see the sea, but I didn't expect it to be the 'Mediterranean Sea'
Shek O Beach is located at the southeastern corner of Hong Kong Island.
It is one of the most famous beaches in Hong Kong, with clean sand and clear water. It is suitable for sunbathing, playing kayaking, surfing, etc. There are changing rooms, showers, and toilets~~~
Apart from the high temperature, the water quality and environment are really no different from Southern Europe, and many foreigners like to come here for sunbathing. Sun umbrellas can be rented without a time limit.
There is a small bar by the beach, which really gives a feeling of stumbling into the South of France.
The beach is connected to Shek O Village.
The entire Shek O Village is composed of colorful cottages, combining the charm of a European town with Southeast Asian style.
It is a popular filming location for movies and television
🚇Transportation: Take the Island Line to Shau Kei Wan (shaoji), then take bus No. 9 near exit A1 to Shek O.

3⃣️Check the weather, be aware of sun protection during the hot summer.
4⃣️Remember to bring mosquito repellent.
5⃣️Some users mentioned that lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent (I didn't rent them, hhh).

7⃣️To go back to Stanley, take the minibus and then transfer (Google Map says bus no. 16, but I didn't understand the Cantonese the driver spoke, so I ended up going back to Shau Kei Wan== and then took bus no. 14 to Stanley Village).
