Fuzhou Beach Park Flower Viewing Tour
Fuzhou Beach Park is located about 150 meters north of the intersection of the Third Ring Expressway and the West Third Ring Road in Cangshan District, Fuzhou City (about 150 meters southwest of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University). It is about 3,000 meters long, 30-200 meters wide, and covers a total area of about 450 acres. It is divided into different functional areas such as rest area, beach area, water play area, amusement area, and ecological area. The blooming tulips in Wulong River Park have become one of the beautiful sights that Fuzhou citizens look forward to during the Spring Festival in the past two years.
From the main entrance of the beach park to the Qingshuitai scenic area, in an area of about 2,000 square meters, 102,000 tulips of more than 30 varieties are in full bloom. Their colors are rich and varied, including red, yellow, purple, pink and other colors, like a colorful painting. Walking among these seas of flowers, it feels like being in a dreamlike world, making people linger. Walk 300 meters from the park towards Hongtang Bridge and you will find Jinshan Temple, a famous Minjiang River scenic spot. Jinshan Temple was built in the Song Dynasty and is the only underwater temple in Fuzhou. The temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty or before, and consists of four parts: stone pagoda, Mazu Hall, wing rooms, and Wenchang Temple, covering an area of 375 square meters. Jinshan Temple was originally a small stone mound in the middle of the river. Because its shape resembles a stone print floating on the water, like the Jinshan Mountain in Zhenjiang, Jiangnan, it is called "Xiaojinshan".
