Haerangang Restaurant has a history of being a well-known spot in Ando, where Baekdu Mountain is located, before expanding and relocating to Yanji. It's large enough to use two buildings, making it great for group visits, and it also has private rooms which are suitable for visiting with elders. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious, making it a great place for a casual meal without any burden. Most of the staff are North Koreans who are fluent in both Korean and Chinese, which made communication easy when visiting with Korean elders or local Chinese people.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Yanji. The geographical location is beyond doubt. The hotel is newly opened and the facilities are all new. To be precise, the West Market is just downstairs. The hotel environment is also very good, and the cleaning lady always cleans behind us. Drink water every day. 📍Yanji, China On the last day of my Baekdu Mountain trip, I was in downtown Yanji, China! Yanji is a city with a large Korean population and borders North Korea, so most of the signs are written in Korean. There is a mix of Korean, North Korean, and Chinese food, and it is one of the regions with a large number of Han Chinese and Koreans!
