This is one of the most spectacular museum in Shanghai where the exhibits are housed within a 5 storey building. A great place especially if you love dinosaurs. There are also a few stores within the museum. The one in B2 felt unnecessarily expensive. #shanghaitrip This is one of the unique center I've come across in Shanghai with artistic design and a mix of huge 🃏 toys. I highly recommend to visit on weekdays as it is not crowded. So you can slowly walk through all the exhibitions and see more. Allocate at least half a day or more here. Unless you specifically target certain section to see, it is not possible to complete the museum tour in 1 or 2 hour. There is a gift shop in the museum and a cafe should you need to rest your feet here.

Getting there: on metro Line 13, exit 1 This is one of the nicest natural history museum in Asia I have visited. The museum has 5 stories. It has a huge collection of dinosaurs well laid-out. So if you are into animal, natural history kind, you will be amazed by its collection here. Perfect place for kids too. Everything is well-documented in English so you don’t have to worry about language barrier. There’s also a restaurant and a souvenir shop in this museum. I visited the Natural History Museum in Shanghai and it did not disappoint! My friends and I spent a day at the museum and loved taking the day to learn about all sorts of cool animal facts and history of the world. The displays here are very well done.
