My recent trip to Shanghai was an unforgettable experience, blending the old with the new in a city that is constantly evolving. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the city's dynamic skyline, dominated by modern skyscrapers like the iconic Shanghai Tower, yet alongside them stand historical buildings in the Bund, showcasing Shanghai's rich colonial past. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the famed Nanjing Road, where I indulged in shopping and enjoyed the vibrant energy of the bustling city. The street was lined with high-end boutiques, department stores, and lively street vendors. I also spent time in the peaceful Yu Garden, a tranquil escape in the heart of the city with its traditional Chinese architecture, ponds, and beautiful landscaping. A boat ride along the Huangpu River gave me a unique perspective of Shanghai's stunning skyline. The contrast between the ultra-modern financial district of Lujiazui and the historical Bund was truly awe-inspiring. I also visited the Shanghai Museum, where I was impressed by the vast collection of Chinese art and historical artifacts. For a taste of Shanghai's culinary scene, I tried the famous xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) at a local restaurant, which was an absolute must! The food was incredible, and I also explored various street markets to sample authentic local snacks. Throughout my trip, I marveled at how Shanghai successfully balances its rich history with a forward-thinking approach to technology and innovation. Whether you’re interested in culture, shopping, or food, Shanghai offers something for every traveler. It's a city that never fails to impress and leaves you wanting to return for more.

Disneyland Lazy Guide: Enter at 10:00

☀️Great! The sun is out at Shanghai Disneyland on November 21. The weather is clear, and you can take bright photos again! November–December is the off-season at Disneyland, so there are fewer people. You don't have to get up at 5:00 and line up at 7:00. You can go at 9:00 and enter the park without lining up. Some suggestions for first-time visitors: Transportation: 🚗Taxi: The starting fare is CNY 16 during the day and CNY 21 after 22:00. It's really expensive, so I don't recommend taking a taxi. 🚄Subway: Line 11 goes directly to the park. Accommodation tips: You can choose a hotel close to Disneyland. Some hotels also offer shuttle services, which is more convenient! ✅Must-bring items: ID card, power bank, phone, thermos, snacks, nuts ❎Prohibited items: glass products, heated food, tripods, multi-section selfie sticks Suggested itinerary (no detours): 1⃣10:30 Enter the park 2⃣11:40 Pirates of the Caribbean, line up for about 25 minutes 3⃣12:40 Mickey's Storybook Adventure, enter at around 12:20, make a reservation while lining up for Pirates of the Caribbean, highly recommended 4⃣13:30 Golden Fairytale Fanfare near the castle 5⃣14:00 Canoe, line up for about 20 minutes, my companion likes this ride, but I think you can skip it and rest or stroll around 6⃣15:00 Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, line up for about 15 minutes in the single rider line, see the picture for the single rider line 7⃣15:30 Parade, take beautiful photos of Belle, Nick, and Judy 8⃣16:00 Voyage to the Crystal Grotto, basically no line, stroll around near the castle 9⃣17:00 Soaring Over the Horizon, the longest line is about 35 minutes 🔟18:00 Jet Packs, line up for about 25 minutes 1⃣1⃣18:40 Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue, go at around 17:00, the single rider line was closed when I went, line up for 25 minutes, I don't like this ride, the weightlessness is very scary 1⃣2⃣19:15–20:15 Rest outside the park, Xinwang Restaurant in Disneytown is super delicious, the double roast meat and beef chow fun are definitely worth trying 1⃣3⃣20:50 Peter Pan's Flight, line up for 10 minutes 1⃣4⃣21:00 Get ready to watch the fireworks, if you want to take photos with the fireworks, go behind the castle, but if you want to watch the light show, go to the front of the castle. ✅In summary, I didn't go on the popular Soaring Over the Horizon and Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue in the morning. There are fewer people on these rides after 17:00. Make good use of the single rider line to save time lining up for Hot Pursuit. Don't buy dolls from vendors in the park, just check the wait time on the app. Disneytown and Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue are in the same area, so I arranged dinner there.

⭐️Disneyland visit on November 18, 2024 There were about 50,000 people at Disneyland today. We went on 11 rides and saw 4 shows. Here is our itinerary and some tips! 🔹Itinerary🔹 ⏰09:30 Enter the park ➡️Zootopia: Hot Pursuit (40-minute wait) ➡️Pirates of the Caribbean (20-minute wait) ➡️Show: Eye of the Storm ➡️Lunch ➡️Roaring Rapids (30-minute wait) ➡️Soaring Over the Horizon (50-minute wait) ➡️Show: Mickey's Storybook Adventure (reservation required) ➡️Parade: Mickey's Storybook Express ➡️TRON Lightcycle Power Run (purchased Disney Premier Access) ➡️Zootopia at night (15-minute wait in the single rider line) ➡️Dinner ➡️TRON Lightcycle Power Run (20-minute wait) ➡️Light and fireworks show ➡️20:30 Exit the park ✅Some tips ✨Best show: Zootopia This was my first time on Hot Pursuit. I recommend waiting in line if there aren't many people, as you'll miss the police station if you use the Disney Premier Access. If you've been on it before, I recommend using the single rider line, which takes you straight to Chief Bogo. There are so many details in Zootopia, especially at night. The night view is amazing! 🎢Best ride: TRON Lightcycle Power Run It's very fast. I was stunned the first time I went on it, and only noticed the special effects the second time. After the parade, everyone rushed to TRON Lightcycle Power Run, and the wait time was 105 minutes. 😭Most disappointing: Soaring Over the Horizon This was the ride we waited the longest for. There were a lot of people all day, but it wasn't worth the wait. It's just 2 minutes of drone footage of various landscapes and cities. If you go, I recommend going to Room 2 and sitting in the middle, otherwise the experience won't be as good. ☠Most interesting: Pirates of the Caribbean It's well made, with pirates and a big ship. The projection effects are very realistic. It's worth going on. By the way, there's a restaurant next to this ride called Barbossa's Bounty. It has a great atmosphere and the food smells delicious! 💦Most embarrassing: Roaring Rapids You must wear waterproof shoes or buy shoe covers, otherwise you'll get splashed if you sit near the door. My shoes were soaked, and my feet were wet for the rest of the day, which was very uncomfortable. But the ride itself is very fun! ❤️Most touching: Mickey's Storybook Adventure and the parade These two attractions feature many classic animated characters. I was really touched when I saw Moana, Mulan, and Rapunzel on stage together. They're all characters I loved as a child! 🎈Most surprising: Eye of the Storm This show is right next to Pirates of the Caribbean, and it started just after we finished the ride. You have to stand for more than 10 minutes at the start, which is a bit boring, but when the curtain rises and the pirates and officers start fighting, it's really exciting. The wind tunnel even lifts people into the air. The actors are very skilled!

Magical Day in Shanghai Disneyland

#goingplaces 📍Disneyland, Shanghai, China Had a magical day in Disneyland while travelling to Shanghai, China. Here are some tips for those visiting Shanghai Disneyland for the first time: 1. Be there earlier. We got the regular tickets in which the gate is only opened for regular ticket holders at 8.30am. We were there at 7.30am, gate was opened 15minutes earlier and there wasn’t much crowd in the morning! 2. Download the Disneyland app so you get a hold of the line up time. Besides, you need the Disneyland app to make reservations for certain shows: Mickey Mouse show. 3. Shanghai Disneyland is the only Disneyland in which snacks are allowed! The park is huge and there was just so much to see (including shows, the buildings, parade, the fireworks at 8pm). My favourite ride would be Tron, filled with adrenaline rush and so much fun! Such a magical day well spent in Disneyland!

One day in "SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND" ก่อนอื่นต้องบอกว่าได้ไปช่วงเด็กจีนปิดเทอมพอดี รู้เลยว่าคนแตกแน่นอน การต่อคิวจะยาวนานเราจึงต้องเตรียมตัว 🎫 Early Entry Ticket เข้าก่อนเวลาสวนสนุกเปิด 90 นาที ควรตำมากที่สุดนอกจากการซื้อตั๋วปกติ เพราะจะทำให้เราเก็บเครื่องเล่นได้มากขึ้น ⏰️ สวนเปิด 8:30 ดังนั้นเราจึงสามารถเข้าได้ 7:00 ถ้าเราซื้อ Early Entry 🚗 การเดินทาง 1. Didi : เรียกได้เลย ถ้าจาก Nanging Road เราเรียกได้ 120 หยวน รถจะมีจุดจอดที่ตรงลานจอดรับส่ง 2. Metro : นั่ง line 11 ไปลง Disney Resort 5 หยวนต่อคน ประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมงได้ เมื่อมาถึง ไม่ว่าจะมาจาก Didi หรือ Metro สิ่งที่ต้องเจอเลยคือเดินยาวๆไป ยาวๆไป กว่าจะเข้าไปตรงจุดตรวจกระเป๋าก็มี 2000 ก้าว Step 1: ต้องผ่านการตรวจกระเป๋าก่อน คิวกะโฟลไปเรื่อยๆแหละ ขดเข้าคิวประมาณ 2 ขดใหญ่ Step 2 : ตรวจตั๋ว อันนี้ต้องรอ 7:00 ก่อนถึงเข้าได้ กะขดรอไปอีก 2 ขดใหญ่เบาๆ 🎢 มาถึงเครื่องเล่น เรากะเล็งไว้แล้วอะไรที่เริส เราจะใช้เวลาที่เข้ามาก่อนสวนสนุกเปิดไปเล่น 1. ZOO TROPIA - Hot Pursuit (9.5/10) : ก่อนเข้ากะขดคิวไป ขดตั้งแต่เกจเข้าโซน แล้วไปขดที่เครื่องเล่นต่อ เดินไกลมากกกก คือเดินไปสองพันกว่าก้าวแล้วยังไม่ได้เข้าเลย นับตั้งแต่ประตู รวมๆเวลารอน่าจะ 20 นาทีได้ แต่พอได้เข้าเครื่องเล่นก็ทับใจ ชอบมาก เขาจะให้นั่งรถ มีสองแถวใน 1 คัน นั่งได้แถวละ 5 คน รถก็จะขับพาชมไปเรื่อยๆ แสงสี แอนนิเมชั่น ทำดี ทำเริส ทำถึง สมการรอคอย ว้าวมาก มันเหมือนเราได้อยู่ในการ์ตูนจริงๆ 2. Explorer Canoes (2/10) : ร้อนไม่ไหวเลยแม่ ต่อคิวตากแดดประมาณ 15 นาที แล้วก็ไปลงเรือ พายเองด้วย พายกลางแดดอย่างร้อนเลยแม่จ๋า ไม่ผ่าน ที่ไปเล่นเพราะดูมันไวดี แล้วคนก็เริ่มเข้ามาเยอะ เครื่องเล่นพีคๆคือคนต่อคิวนานไม่ไหว 🍱 พอเล่นมาถึงตรงนี้ก็เวลาสิบเอ็ดโมงกว่าเริ่มหิว เลยเดินไปทาง Disney town ออกไปหาข้าวกิน เพราะถูกกว่าข้างใน มี pop mart และร้านของเล่น ร้านน้ำมากมาย ตรงนี้ถ้าออกไปแล้วกลับมาต้องโชว์ตั๋ว และตรวจกระเป๋าอีกรอบ ห้ามทำตั๋วหายเด็ดขาด*** 🦩 กินข้าวเสร็จกลับมาได้ดูพาเรทด้วย พาเรทช่วง 12:00 พอดี ตัวละครมาแบบจัดเต็ม ยิ่งใหญ่อลังการ 5. Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue (8/10) : รอคิวประมาณ 40 นาทีได้ เป็นรถนั่งแล้วให้ยิงปืนนับคะแนน สนุกดี แต่แอบมีเครื่องค้างนิดนึง กะนั่งยิงไปเรื่อยๆ 555 จนคะแนนขึ้นไปแปดแสนเลย 6. Peter Pan's Flight (8/10) : ต่อคิวประมาณ 40 นาทีได้แหละ ก็เป็นนั่งเรือแต่ไม่มีน้ำ ให้ดูมุมต่างๆของปีเตอร์แพนไปเรื่อยๆ แอร์เย็นดี ได้อยู่ 7. The Many Adventures of Winnie the pooh (7/10) : น่าจะรอประมาณ 40 นาทีแหละ คล้ายๆกับของฮ่องกง คือนั่งรถ แล้วดูหนังสือพี่หมีพู พี่หมีพูก็น่ารักเหมือนเดิม 8. Mickey's Storybook Adventure (9/10) : อันนี้จริงๆต้องกดจองที่นั่งก่อน แต่เดินงงๆไปแล้วเอามือถือให้เขาดูว่ากดไม่ได้มีปัญหา เขาก็ไล่ให้เข้าไปเลย เพราะถึงรอบแล้ว 555 โชว์ดีมาก แอร์เย็นมาก ร้องสดเพราะแบบไม่ต้องพยายาม ชอบๆ ก็จะมีมิกกี้มาเล่าเรื่อง แล้วก็มีตัวละครต่างๆออกมาทำการแสดง 9. Tron Lightcycle power Run Presented by Chevrolet (10/10) : อันนี้รอนานสุด ชั่วโมงกว่า คิวยาวไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด ขดแล้วขดอีก ขดต่อ เด็กน้อยสูงเกิน 122 cm เล่นได้ เป็นการนั่งคร่อมมอไซค์ แล้วก็ฟิวววว ไปไวๆแบบรถไฟเหาะ น้องน้ำหลอกว่าไม่ทันรู้เรื่องกะจบแล้ว แต่จริงๆมัน take time อยู่ แต่การเล่นก็ทำให้ชีวิต completed กับการไปเซี่ยงไฮ้นะเออ แนะนำว่าเล่น 10. Slinky Dog Spin (2/10) : รอประมาณ 15 นาที เพราะคนไปรอดูพลุกันแล้ว คือมันแบบว่า ขึ้นไปแล้วถามตัวเองว่าต้องกรี๊ดไหม มันของเด็กแหละสู นั่งงงๆแปบนึงกะหมดรอบ 🎉 เล่นไปสิบอย่างก็มารอดูพลุ แต่ไม่สามารถเดินไปข้างหน้าปราสาททันได้ เพราะคนแตกมาก เลยดูด้านหลังเอา แต่ถ้าให้ดีไปดูด้านหน้าจะสวยกว่า 11. This time, I took my daughter to Shanghai Disneyland mainly for the Zootopia theme. Since it was a weekday, there weren't too many people; the longest wait time for any ride was only 30 minutes. We entered the park at 10 AM and managed to enjoy over 70% of the attractions, including Zootopia's Hot Pursuit, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (which she rode multiple times as a single rider), Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue, Peter Pan's Flight, Slinky Dog Spin, Soaring Over the Horizon, Explorer Canoes, Voyage to the Crystal Grotto, Frozen: A Sing-Along Celebration, and Alice in Wonderland Maze. My daughter was very satisfied and mentioned how rare it was to enjoy so many of her favorite rides. We had two meals in the park because our tickets included a 100 RMB meal voucher, which was really worth it! A Fun Day at Shanghai Disney Resort

#amusement We had such a fun day at Shanghai Disney Resort! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the magical sight of the Enchanted Storybook Castle—it’s massive and even more beautiful in person. We went to Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. The ride was insane—so immersive with all the water effects and giant screens that made us feel like we were actually under the sea with Captain Jack Sparrow. Then we spent some time walking around Adventure Isle, where we tried the Roaring Rapids. We all got a bit wet, but it was super refreshing in the warm weather. As the sun began to set, we found a perfect spot to watch the Ignite the Dream fireworks show. The music, lights, and fireworks over the castle were pure magic. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day.

We chose the cave, with different difficulty levels at each junction, including climbing and single-plank bridges, similar to treetop walking + rock climbing. A 6-year-old girl had a great time and shouted for another go at the end. 6.🌟 After the Roaring Rapids, we saw that the queue for Thunder Mountain Rafting was 1 hour, so we played the Explorer Canoes 🛶 first, with a 10-minute queue. We paddled a big circle in the lake, and the little one splashed me with water. 😅 7.🌟 The canoes and Thunder Mountain Rafting are next to each other, friendly for kids over 110cm. The height requirements for rafting at Happy Valley and Fantawild are higher. My little one has never played rafting before, so we had to try it. We bought raincoats and shoe covers in advance. The shoes stayed dry, but the clothes got a bit wet. This is a good time to change into a beautiful princess dress. ⚡ So, if you plan to raft, bring an extra set of clothes. 8.🌟 After rafting, continue upwards to Pirates of the Caribbean. The 40-minute queue is worth it. The experience is amazing, immersive. Those who are timid should prepare mentally. My 6-year-old daughter didn't find it scary, especially loved the final drop from the cave to the exit. She said it was thrilling and played twice (the accompanying kids were scared, so she played twice). 9.🌟 When the first fireworks show is about to start, queue for Soaring Over the Horizon. There are fewer people. My daughter and I both love this attraction. You can smell the corresponding scents at each place, feeling like you really have wings, flying to those beautiful places. 10.🌟 After Soaring Over the Horizon, you come out to the fireworks viewing area. Now, you just need to quietly wait for the second fireworks and light show. A beautiful day ends here.

A Magical Day at Shanghai Disney Resort 🐭🏰🇨🇳

Disneyland is one of my favourite places to visit in Shanghai! Here are some tips to have the most magical day! MUST VISIT ATTRACTIONS: 🌟 Zootopia: Hot Pursuit - This recently opened area of the park usually has a 60 minute wait to enter. I recommend buying a premier pass for the ride so you don’t have to wait another hour to ride Hot Pursuit! 🌟 The Adventure of Rhythm - A brand new stage show located next to Soaring Over the Horizon. It features 8 less seen characters from The Aristocats, Aladdin, Turning Red, Moana, Wreck-It Ralph, The Lion King, Pinocchio and Mulan. The characters and music styles can change, so go and watch it more than once! 🌟 TRON Lightcycle Power Run - A a high speed rollercoaster located in Tomorrowland. Be sure to check out this area after sunset when all of the lights are on! 🌟 Mickey’s Storybook Express - Check the app for parade times. A Mickey-led train themed parade with all of your favourite characters! For photos with the castle in the background, find a spot at the end of Mickey Avenue. 🌟 Characters! - There are so many locations to meet your favourite characters including Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Donald & Daisy Duck, Lina Bell and more! Check the app to see who is appearing and where you can find them! BEFORE YOU VISIT: ✅ Download the Official Shanghai Disney Resort App ~ here you can buy tickets and premier passes, check show times and wait times for attractions! ✅ Bring your ID or passport to enter the park. ✅ Don’t forget to bring a power bank! At Shanghai Disneyland in China, there are so many opportunities to meet characters and take photos that it can feel overwhelming. Save this guide for your next visit! 📍 Mickey Avenue - here you can periodically find Mickey & friends and Duffy & friends meeting guests throughout the day. The lines are often closed after a certain number of guests. 📍 Zootopia - meet Judy and Nick at Zootopia Police Department ‘recruitment center’. 📍 Meet Mickey Mouse at the Gardens of Imagination. This is a specific location dedicated to meeting only Mickey. 📍 At the Enchanted Storybook Castle you can meet Royalty and find the princesses. Sometimes you might see Belle or Flynn Rider hanging around nearby in Fantasyland too. 📍 Happy Circle in adventureland is home to different characters all the time!
