[A popular restaurant in Daegu where you can eat kalguksu] Jojo Kalguksu City Hall Branch recently opened in Seoul I heard that it was full of nearby office workers at lunchtime, so I went in after 1:30 and there were a few seats available. They showed me around and I ordered right away. I ordered the main dish of guksu for each person and chijimi. *When I visited again in September 2023, they also had a menu in Japanese! I was surprised to see that the sign at the entrance was written in Japanese! I knew that a famous and popular kalguksu restaurant in Daegu had opened at City Hall Station last year, so when I found out that the kongguksu restaurant I was counting on was closed, I changed my plans. Seoul City Hall is a historic landmark dating from the Japanese colonial period. It has been preserved as a remainder of that darker historic period but also as a testament of Seoul and Korea's resilience and presrverance. Entry to the old city hall is free and actually there's a functional library inside. On the upper levels you'll find preserved rooms and details on their functions and history. It's quite interesting and informative and you can easily spend an entire afternoon roaming through its many rooms and floors. On the rooftop there's a lovely garden with very nice views of the city. There are seats there so you can definitely relax and admire the city from atop. #history

Blue Bottle Samcheong An American cafe with many branches in Seoul. This time, we will take you to the Samcheong branch, which is near Bukchon Village, a popular tourist attraction. Wynyard Seongsu Pin this as the first shop that you must visit. The shop is beautiful, cool, and the atmosphere looks very expensive. But what I like the most is the coffee service because the shop lets us choose coffee beans (espresso will have one set of beans to choose from, and filter will have another set). The 5th floor is an outdoor terrace that is part of the restaurant (opens after the cafe for 1 hour). The desserts in the shop look great. There are also a variety of drinks. But most importantly, the view is absolutely beautiful. I recommend coming as soon as the shop opens so you can take pictures comfortably because the shop is already full in no time. How to get there: I recommend taking the subway and getting off at Yeonsinnae Station, then taking a bus from Yeonseo Market and getting off at Hanago Samcheonsa Jingwansa (it takes about 1 hour from Euljiro-3ga). #TravelKorea
