[2025 Seoul Attraction] Travel Guide for Seoul Battleship Park (Updated Jun)

At the battleship park, you also can go under a submarine too. Once you enter the main entrance, you will enter into their history zone. Over here, you can understand how and what had happened. All the ships here are real, they are decommissioned. So what you see is what they have been used for, except no live rounds. You can also enter into the sleeping quarters in the submarine to feel the small space around you. There are also many video zones showing how the sailors went about their daily lives in the shop. There are 3 ships to explore at battleship park and you also can see the park is crowded with people having picnics and even suntanning too. There are also buskers here too and when they sing, you can hear them from the ships too. You will get a wristband upon gaining entry and use the QR code on the wristband to enter the ship. Go on to the bigger ship and you can climb your way to the top and also down to the basements. There are arrows indicating which directions to follow so you will not get lost. #4月好去地方2025 #SEOUL战船公园 100425 (6) Walking along the public fitness equipment at Yanghwa Park, there are beautiful cherry trees 🌸💮. There are citizens cycling 🚴, running 🏃 and exercising 🏋️. There are more men, probably because Korean men have to serve two years of military service 🪖 and are used to exercising! Of course there are ladies there, but most of them are just taking a walk🚶! I have never swam in Korea, so I don’t need to bring a swimsuit this time 🩱❌🙅! 🛳️Battleship Park offers a distant view of the Shiroyama Bridge, and even the Seonyudo Park which I had thought about visiting before. Unfortunately, I calculated that I really don’t have much time, because I still have many places to go. I have already been to many parks to take pictures of cherry blossoms💮🌸, and it’s time to take pictures of other places! Don’t go there again, save it for next time☺️!

The weather was refreshing and breezy 🌬️ and there was great sunshine ☀️🌞, I was really excited to touch the equipment of the battleship, but at the same time I had to be careful to take selfies on the deck to avoid accidents😛, this experience will be unforgettable for a lifetime☺️😊! Three naval ships have transformed Lookout Park into an onboard park, providing the public with the opportunity to understand how precious security and peace are in South Korea.

Entering the control room, of course, I took tons of photos—big shots, close-ups, everything! 😆😅 Before going in, I was a bit worried about being too over-the-top with my photography, so I tried to keep it subtle. 😛 Even though it's just an old battleship from years ago, the fact that there’s no supervision means I couldn’t resist sitting in a prime spot to snap some stylish and meaningful photos 📸📷 as a keepsake. 🤣🤩😀 I spent about 15 minutes taking pictures when suddenly a group of soldiers in camouflage uniforms, likely recruits, entered the ship led by a senior captain 🪖. I quickly dodged out of their way, not wanting them to notice me secretly snapping photos of them from behind. 🤫😅🤣

#April Good Places 2025 #Seoul Battleship Park 100425 (3) This is a one-to-one retired warship in Hanjiang Park, Seoul. The first time I saw such a big bullet, the conference room, restaurant, toilet, laundry room on the battleship, the rooms of different positions were also fully exhibited, I went from the middle floor to the upper floor and then walked back to the lower floor, it was really exciting☺️😊!

The battleship that was called Seoulham has been turned into a park on the Han River after it was retired. It is working day and night to convey its spirit of devotion to protecting the country for a long time to the public. You can learn about the Navy. A must visit attraction and it is 3000 krw for entry but you can use your Discover Seoul Pass to make it free. There are also free guided tours at different timing, just make sure you sign up for the tour in advance. A ship captain in uniform will show you around. But I will suggest you to tour the park on your own, it is not crowded and you will not have difficulty in a korean language guided tour too. You can climb up and down the stairs inside the ship too. Just be careful because the stairs are narrow and the spaces are small. So beware of your surroundings.
