There are so much recreation to do at Seokchon lake and it is available to everyone including the tourists. You can cross the bridge to go to the other side or access the music and art gallery zone under the bridge. These artworks are done by students from a primary school and it was painted for display at the bridge. There is also a piano which you can play it at your own pace just beside the lake. The sound of the piano is loud because of the tunnel under the bridge. A large space on the lake for buskers and event organizer. You will need to apply in advance for the usage rights otherwise it is not recommended to set up a temporary performance. Do not worry too much, there are photo backdrop available, such as this staircase and magazine frame. It frames out the background of Lotte World against the sunset. So you can just position yourself within the frame. There are food options around the stage and you can buy some food before having a picnic here with yourself and/or friends. Lotte World is amazing in the day and also in the night. You can also admire Lotte World without entering too. Take the Jamsil subway exit 2-2 leading towards Seokchan lake. You will exit and turn left and see the Pororo statue there. Then take the pathway along the lake towards your right. You will get to Lotte World, Magic Island faster from this route. You can get incredible photos and videos from across the lake. Depending on the season, your photos can have cherry blossoms and golden leaves or bare trees too. My favourite place to be and I enjoy this lake very much. I will choose to stay at the Lotte Hotel and walk here every time to enjoy the views in different seasons. I gravitate towards cherry blossom season rather than autumn foliage. At Seokchan lake, you can have both cherry blossom and autumn foliage. It is also lively during the Christmas and New Year countdown. Just as you know, Lotte World is right here and you can see the entire Magic Island at Seokchan lake. 📍38 Baekjegobun-ro 45-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul This place, which is considered a famous restaurant in Songridan-gil, always had a waiting line whenever I passed by! I remember waiting for about 20 minutes when I visited on a weekday evening before, but when I went during lunchtime on a weekday when there weren't many people, I was able to eat right away! I ordered the best menu, Cheese and Smile (Cheese Chicken Galbi), and I think they give you a free rice ball for lunchtime! It doesn't look that big in the picture, but it was actually really big and I had to leave some! It came with tomato salad and scorched rice, and I was surprised that the scorched rice was cold, but after eating the spicy chicken galbi, I understood why it was served cold! It was a very delicious combination! The interior of the store is very clean and spacious, so it feels comfortable, and one wall has a large window, so it doesn't feel stuffy and is nice.
